We all strive for a better club, a club that courts some success, not the abject failure weve become accustomed to. So leaving the board out of this what can we do to make our new manager/squad feel a part of us as we wish to feel a part of them? 'The family club' The interview with Stu S is brilliant, if he is clever (which I have no doubt he is) he will know this is what we want to hear, you can play people so well by being a clever thinker/talker, I dont think for one minute this guy is anything other than sincere, but this is how easy it is to create a feel good factor and it doesn't cost a dime. DC his backroom staff, Stuart and the team deserve our very best attention and support, infact I think we owe it to them, else we shouldnt carp if it all goes tits up. We need to give these guys the best possible chance of success, no matter how bitter some may feel about the recent past.
Come on Rovers come on you Blues.

I wholeheartedly agree, we MUST get behind the team for all 90 minutes tomorrow, and create a special atmosphere that we all know is possible, obviously an early goal would help with this but even if it's 0-0 after 60 mins we really must keep on supporting and not slip back into negative moaning and sniping.
I am more excited for the first game this season than I have been for a fair few years, maybe deludedly so, but I feel the balance of the first XI is pretty good and suited to this league, definitely a few more signings needed yet for depth/cover but as far as starting XI is concerned I'm pretty happy.
Can't wait for tomorrow now, hope we can get a good start and convincing win to get us going.

The quicker we realise were are not going to be invincible in this league the better, at times at the Mem you can almost physically feel the frustration/anger at concedeing a goal, it must effect the players, I have experianced it myself the fear of putting a foot wrong, our team have to be safe in the knowledge that we are in this for the long haul, we expect things to go wrong at times and they will, we will lose games we expect to win, it will happen, this is work in progress and we have to do our very best to be patient in that knowledge.

We are not crap because of expectations of fans. Nobody thinks we are invincible. If footballers can't deal with tension in the terrace then they are in the wrong job. As for being patient! Fox me, can we possibly be anymore patient? We've underachieved since 1883! Darrell said at the QnA that we are going for promotion. His words. So if we are off track, he, we, the players are fine to get angry and frustrated.

DC also had to understand that blame will be placed at his feet as he has seen was the case with JW. I think he is in for a baptism of fire. Hey, wouldn't it be fixing brilliant if we actually did live up to the hype and did F##k this league ? As Kevin Keegan once says " I would love it, I would bloody love it"
