Anyone else heard we have identified some 30 acres by the Sh*ts training facilities and all progressing nicely ? Where do they train by Ashton Court isn't it? Hope they stay where they are, I pop over every now & then and watch 'em.

Excuse my ignorance but what is the advantage of Failand over Cribbs or elsewhere near the UWE/ring road? Is it cost, space, something else?

opposite side of the road to the Firebrands Hockey club - next to the QEH school sports ground. The area cant be used for housing and is very popular with sports facilities

Excuse my ignorance but what is the advantage of Failand over Cribbs or elsewhere near the UWE/ring road? Is it cost, space, something else? All I was told is that this is going ahead, The UWE was held up due to negotiations for the Freehold, internally it was being completely rearranged ,bars ,function rooms etc and that they were going for the bigger capacity, whether that is the capacity allowed within existing planning or not I am not sure. further that the UWE were closing their conference facilities and would use the one in the stadium. My assumption would be that the negotiations for the Freehold were encoraging because of this.

Excuse my ignorance but what is the advantage of Failand over Cribbs or elsewhere near the UWE/ring road? Is it cost, space, something else? Probably finding suitable land at a reasonable price? I doubt it makes much difference where the ground is situated as long it's not too far away from the Mem/UWE

Maybe it was the Rolls Royce showroom being built nearby that convinced me :-)
