Anybody else enjoy Sweet Caroline last Saturday?
1) It was refreshing to hear something different as it gets a bit boring with the same music every game.
2) It got everyone singing along and set the tone.

Went to the Rygby World Cup opening game and they played that and put the lyrics up on the screens that go around the ground. Had the whole stadium singing along and created a great atmosphere.

I think they should play something a bit more modern, something the kids can get into a bit more, like The Human League or Heaven 17.

I do like to keep in touch with the Hit Parade and follow such crooners as Vanilla Slice, Titchy Spider, Dirty Rascal and Snoopy Dog. I was listening on the wireless to the current number 1 by Charlie Drake but was disappointed not to hear his catchphrase of "Hullo My Darlings" featured at all.

That had me giggling like a school girl !

Nick needs to quit trying to force us into singing along to a dated song that has absolutely nothing to do with the club.
Its cringeworthy.

I thought that really got us going before the game Saturday. No reason we can't mix it up with old and new songs. As long as they're upbeat it makes no difference to me.

Atmosphere, rugby. I know who'd have thought it! To be fair at international level it can get pretty lively and in the French league they make a hell of a racket. Went to an Ireland game as well and I've never heard anything like it. Louder than a sold out Nou Camp game I went to.

The Nou Camp is a soulless pit full of tourists, not to be confused with international rugby matches which are soulless pits full of tories.

The announcer at Oxford tried getting their fans going which completely back fired and got our boys and girls going instead. The Gaffney song has tickled me as I was at the Millennium stadium in the early 2000's for Wales v Italy European qualifiers. Certainly got the crowd going when it was played. Granted it was a full house, wales had just won & the roof was shut. Not even a Wales fan but £15 to watch italy, no brainer

No pre-match music for me - let the fans make the noise as the players arrive on to the pitch !! Get Nick Day to shut up too !

I remember back in the Eastville days, that before games they played stuff by John Philip Sousa, who was famous for his military marches, and if you've never heard of him, he composed what is now known as the 'Monty Python Theme music'.

My ears are still ringing from the German Techno that broke a speaker above me in the away end at Stevenage on Tuesday pre-match
