Wycombe Wanderers games against Accy and Oxford could have a huge bearing on our chances of promotion. Could we forgive them if they won both and we went up?

Yes. But we wouldn't tell them.

Cant see them doing it unfortunately, cause they are distinctly average. Couldn't name a threatening player of theirs.
Highly likely that ox or staney will drop 2 points somewhere tho.

I can't imagine Wycombe would want to lose thier last home game next week, there recent record suggests they are hard to beat but not very good at winning. Although I just can't see them holding Oxford to a draw the following week.

V Accrington is their last home game and like all teams they'll want to end the season on a high and send their fans home happy. Then Oxford Being local rivals surely they won't want to lose there.

It's all in the past the lightning incident and that was season before we were relegated anyway. Things have worked out OK for us now and we're on the up. If Wycombe could beat or draw against either I'd be very grateful.

I guess if they lose at home next week they are hardly likely avoid defeat in a tougher game at Oxford the following? Although we know from our Mansfield game anything is possible!

Never liked them since Martin O'niel chose them, a non league club at the time instead of us and we ended up with Martin Dobson. But I could cut them a bit of slack if they beat Accy or Ox or both.

If they take the points that help get us into 2nd/3rd then great, but they wouldn't be doing it for us so why forgive them? can't stand them

I mentioned the possibility of needing to become closet Wycombe supporters in a thread a few weeks ago. For the next two weeks, I am certainly not above adopting them as my 2nd team - c'mon you Wycs!
For those of you that can't stoop to my level - what about a halfway house - prey for them to keep two clean sheets!!!

Good friends with a Wycombe fan and told him I'd be delighted to forget that I dislike them and the majority of their fan base if they could do us a favor, he hopes they don't help us though!

Ainsworth has said he wants to finish season strongly and get to 70 points. Looks like they won't be doing a hartlepool.
