Just thought I'd share my small amount of obsessive research.
I've been looking at the remaining fixtures and the respective reverse results from earlier in the season.
Heres how it went:
Rovers beat York 2-1 Rovers beat D&G 0-3
Oxford drew vs Carlisle 1-1 Oxford Lost vs Wycombe 2-1
Accrington drew vs Stevenage 1-1 Accrington drew vs Wycombe 1-1
Not saying the results will be the same but there's reason to hope that the others may have just one more blip.
85 points has been enough for the last 10 years. C'mon rovers 6 points, and we might just do it!
come on you blues!!!!

I can't see all three of us winning all of our games. Have to win ours, especially next week, and hope something goes our way.
To be honest, I expected Plymouth to win yesterday, so for us to go into next week needing only one slip up is a bonus.

Sure Keith curle will get plenty of good luck messages, think Oxford will drop points there, and Wycombe is a relatively local game so can't see them rolling over too easily, we have to do our bit and win our two games if it isn't enough well we go into the play offs full of confidence, for pens again at Wembley!

Can you imagine us needing a win against daggers, it's 0 0 until the last minute and we get awarded a penalty, Mansel to take it?

If Accrington draw with Wycombe on Saturday we will only need a draw in our last game of the season at home.
What could possibly go wrong!!!!

If they draw with Wycombe they'll have 82 points. Even if we win at York (which you haven't stipulated) we will only get to the same number of points 82. If we draw the last game and they beat Stevenage then they'll have two more points than us?? 85 versus 83.

If Accrington draw with Wycombe on Saturday we will only need a draw in our last game of the season at home. What could possibly go wrong!!!! sadly not true. We would still have to win both our matches to (almost) guarantee promo, and even then a weird GD swing could still threaten that. The good news is that baring the above GD issue we 'just' need to win our 2 and either accy or ox to draw one (or worse). If others draw / lose and so do we then it gets very complicated. ..

We need to be careful next week and against the daggers, it is not uncommon for teams to play out of there skins after they have been relegated and get a good result. The pressure is off they know their fate and want to end the season well.
Ask Argyle fans
