..according to the bookies.
Odds to win the next match..
Accrington 2.1 Oxford 1.8 Rovers 1.53.
Think Oxford and Accy will both walk away with 3 points next Saturday? Take odds of 3.78, or 2.78/1 for those that know fractional odds. (multiplying the odds together)
Assuming odds of 1.4 for a home win (which will likely be higher for Oxford given their opposition) in their last home games, the odds of both teams taking 6 points from the next 2 games and taking the top 3 out of our hands is 7.4, or nearly 6/1. (by multiplying the win odds for the 4 games between them)
You have to assume that we are going to beat Dagenham at home on the last day (remember Alfreton?). So, win next week and we will be up, in my opinion and according to the bookies. Will it be Dover all over again, or more like Blackpool?

I didn't understand much of that mate but the title of the thread will do for me. Multiplying the odds of a win of the 4 games Accy and Oxford have left between them gives you accumulatator for them both winning their remaining matches. As far as the odds are concerned, if Accrington are 2.1 to win on Saturday, a £10 bet will return £21 (£11 profit)

In a similar vein, between Accy and Oxford there are four games remaining, all we need is for one of those to result in at least a draw and (on the proviso that we win our remaining two) we are promoted automatically. I'm optimistic

I wonder what Daggers odds were to beat Plymouth?
Let's just wait and see what happens...

My lads team only needed a point today to win promotion they've lost one game all season ....... Lost 2-1 today !!! Got to rely on others now as they've played all their games!! Bloody hate football at times !

I'm optimistic What if ?........ we beat York 1-0 and Accrington draw 0-0 with Wycombe. Then we beat Dag & Red 1-0 but Accrington beat Stevenage 5-0 .

I think in this horrible situation Accrington would 'only' need to win four nill as they have scored more goals than Us.

I just wish we had York at home and Daggers away as both of them are better the way we have them.
Having said that, I can't see us failing to beat Dafenham. If we're gonna slip up then will probably be vs York this weekend.
