Will be interesting to see what he has to say about the stadium and the prospects of keeping DC and our best players?

Lots of flimsy talk of undercarriages i expect! Maybe, but I hardly think now is the time for definitive statements, especially after DC made a big point of the takeover potentially being a destabilising influence on the players. I think they will wait now until after the season is over to announce anything if it's ready to be announced, and I think that's the right thing to do. Let's face it, do we really have any confidence that Higgs' deal with the UWE was in the very best interest of the club, considering his track record of making a hash of things in recent years? I'm not surprised that things might be taking time to sort out. We just have to be patient.

Lots of flimsy talk of undercarriages i expect! The landing lights are on! More like "the low fuel warning light has come on" because we are doing circuits around the airport

All this talk about undercarriages, landing lights and airports...have we missed a link to land at Filton?!

All this talk about undercarriages, landing lights and airports...have we missed a link to land at Filton?! Has always been, and still is, best place for a stadium in my view. And an airport for that matter. Never understood why South Glos didn't agree!

I'm not surprised that things might be taking time to sort out. We just have to be patient. On Subs bench Nigel Turner stated that no players are doing interviews at the moment. It seems to me that DC has requested no distractions and nothing will be made public until after the season has ended, be that next week or at the end of May. Looking back, when we won the Trash appeal in March 2014 we won something like one more home game out of 5. I know it wasn't the only reason but I recall comments on the old forum suggested that it may have been a factor.

I can't see how off field news effects the players as I doubt they take any notice anyway, from past experience my money is on SH letting a few snippets of info out of the bag, otherwise any bother appearing on the show in the first place?

I can apprciate that bad news would have a negative affect but good news would surely add to the feel good factor?!

Thought it would be a fantastic place for the stadium, an arena and the airport. You only have to look at the NEC and Birmingham airport with the plans for the city of Birmingham stadium as a replacement for the national stadium when the new Wembley was built.

Not sure why you need a football stadium next to a concert venue? Also not sure the position is any more suitable than the UWE but if we start looking elsewhere now that can add 2 or 3 years more to the project, if we have to start seeking pp all over again.
