Normally I'd be inclined to fear the worst but f*ck it I'm just going to enjoy the prospect of us winning and one (or both!) of the other two dropping points. Can you imagine the celebrations? It would be amazing. Bigger party than Leicester's as they've been expecting to win the Premiership title for a few weeks, when most of us fear the worse?

Not usually a pessimist but don't have a good feeling about this and have voted accordingly, sincerely hope I'm wrong. I'm usually the opposite way round, pessimistic about most things unfortunately ...But I reckon we can do this on Saturday, sincerely hope I'm right.

I've gone for win through playoffs as although I think we'll win on Saturday, it's guess work with the other two games. I really hope we can get it done this week but both Accy and Oxford should be winning their games.
If we do end up 4th then we're the best team in the playoffs and there's no reason why we can't go up the hard way yet again.
One way or another, we will be a league one team next year. UTG!

I've just laid my bets on Oxford and Accy to win, I won a pile last weekend with the same and I'm a sh!t gambler, so clearly I can't possibly win again
Gas to go up this Saturday, final investment will be in a few scoops down Gloucester Road Saturday evening......

Surprised at how many think we'll get auto promo.
We've been here before on the last day of the season hoping for other results to go our way, and look what happened.
I can't see any logic to expecting in form teams to fail to win at home. Of course i hope the do though.

As far I can see it for this weekend we need we need two variables to go our way, us to win and ether one of the others to slip up. Let's not forget we could all slip up, I'd be pretty annoyed we threw that chance away.

That is the one outcome that would hurt,if we win and end up in the playoffs so be it,if we are in the playoffs because we fail to win and a win would have took us up,then we could be on a downer going into the game with the Wombles. But we shall win,UTG.

I don't understand this 'we threw it away' thing. Not that long ago we were quite a way back from Oxford and Accy had three games in hand. More importantly Are-vile were nailed on to go up automatically. The 10 point gap on Oxs we have closed to 1 point. Acc turned a 3 games in hand into 2 point advantage and Are-vile collapsed. To go into the final day with 4th nailed down and a decent shout still of an automatic promo is amazing. #utg.

All the teams at the top (including us) have dropped points in the last half dozen games. What is disappointing is that we had it in our own hands before the Stevenage match but it has been an amazing season whatever and there can't be many of us who would not have taken a playoff place at Christmas.

Pretty sure DC is rightly focused on that and will have the team totally up for it. Can you imagine the silence if we concede first and accy and oxford still level? Im tempted to suggest we ban all communications until last few minutes but know that is totally impractical and word will spread like wildfire as demonstrated on Saturday when the only buffoon to be able to get a signal in York got the wrong bloody message!

Just seems to happen quite often to the team that just miss out,but as you say DC will have them up for it if needed

I've gone for automatic promotion because I feel we're due a bit of last day luck after the last two seasons.
I realise that's not how football works though!

Also, I do have a feeling Wycombe will do us a favour. Just desperate for the Gas to do their bit because if we don't and one of the others slip up as well, that doesn't bear thinking about.

Although I don't do predictions I have a feeling that one of the sides above us will slip up. My worry is Dagenham have won their last two including an impressive win against Plymouth, so I just hope we don't slip up too.
