Wembley tickets for the play off final.
Pompey Plymouth Us Oxford AFCW
In that order I reckon. I don't know if we've got 35k in us anymore? I'm also guessing the tickets would be more expensive than last season and the price was a valid excuse before wasn't it?

We didn't take 40K last year, I don't know why it keeps getting mentioned that we did? We took about 26K. We took 40K in 2006/07.
I think we'd take at-least 30K though this year, the hype of two play off finals in a row and we finally have a future that on paper looks great.

It would help that the teds haven't been to Wembley this year. I reckon that would have knocked a bit off the attendance last year. Still think 30k would be a good result.
Think of what the new board will be able to do with all of that data for marketing purposes this time around...

Actually, the ticket prices are a lot more reasonable, with a lot of the upper tier tickets costing £26 and £13 for concessions. SeeTickets also charge less as well. Wembley will definately lose its novelty value for some though, whereas Plymouth haven't been there for decades, everyone in the area there will be up for a day out.

Absolutely no reason why we wouldn't take the same as we did in 07, especially as the opponents will be a significantly more attractive draw.

I have no doubt at all that us v Plymouth or Pompey would be a record attendance for L2. Maybe not 100% sold out but pretty close.

It was our first visit to the national stadium for a while. It was for promotion to LG1. It was the first time we had been in the lowest division. We were the suprise package in the play off mix. We hadn't won a play off final before.

Oxford have already been this season how many did they take? Attendance for JPT was 59.5k, Barnsley had sold just over 25k a few days before (that's the only figure I can find) So around 30-35k is a good estimate I think.

Got a lot of Pompey mates over here that will be coming back for the playoffs and would prefer us as the competition for the biggest crowd at Wembley. Unfortunately, won't happen, 'cos we'll make the autos. Mark my words. UTG!

There's an extra feel-good factor around the place at the moment so I think we'd be touching 40k fans.

Give that we couldn't sell out 10,000 tickets for our game v Exeter, and a number of people on here were excusing it on grounds of affordability etc, then it will be interesting to see how many of those who 'couldn't afford' £20 for this match suddenly 'find' £150 stuffed down the sofa to fund a day out at Wembley!

Wasn't the cheapest ticket about 40 quid last year? I remember we were all complaining about how the football league play off finals were half that price! It was pretty easy to get your neutral friends to come in 07 but none of them wanted to pay 40 quid last year!
To sum up, we would take more than last year but not as many as 07.

Is the actual figure available somewhere?

We'd take 90K with 100K locked out, plus the fans of whoever we're playing.
