Deserved for his performances once he returned to the team - Think he can do a job at league 1 level.

Hopefully just as back up and not first choice.
Need a better keeper next year.

Would be happy to see a permanent signing to add competition, but really hope we don't go down the route of loans who are no better than what we have already. To be honest don't think Mildy has done much wrong in the run in ....

Great news proved himself as the season went on. He is a fantastic influence around the dressing room as well.

Good news. He deserves that for turning his form around.

Given that Puddy has also been offered a new deal then, assuming he also accepts, I can't see DC going out and signing another keeper?

Given that Puddy has also been offered a new deal then, assuming he also accepts, I can't see DC going out and signing another keeper? I liked Puddy in the conference, but even then he was prone to a few mistakes (Dover and Wembley come straight to mind) The thought of Puddy replacing Milds if he got injured or a drop in form against the likes of Sheff Utd, Bradford, Charlton etc does worry me. I may be being unfair to him, but I don't think he's cut out for this level and I would like us to go after a keeper in the summer.

We still need a keeper IMO to give Mildy serious competition.

We still need a keeper IMO to give Mildy serious competition. I guess that depends on the wage budget DC has got next season, as can he afford to have Puddy sat in the stands all season if he does take up his contract offer, or is the money spent on another goalie better spend on an outfield player?

I think Keiran Preston will be offered a contract and feature in the team at some point.

The way Steve acted when being dropped earlier in the season, we know if he is second choice next season we have a pro ready and waiting on the bench. As for Puddy, I wouldn't be surprised if he signs and then goes out on loan for the season.

No doubting the contract is well deserved but I think Mildenhall will not be first choice next season but back up. Not as mobile and agile anymore is Steve.
