"Got my kit in the car ready to go. Pressure is a privilege". So refreshing from a pro footballer.

Bloke is an absolute hero. Couldn't help but smile through large parts of that interview. You can tell he just loved playing in front of that sort of crowd and atmosphere on Saturday.

Like the part when he said he would only be happy with 6 points from the next two games.

I f*cking love this bloke! Probably one of the best interviews I've heard from one of our players in a while. Seems like a very down to earth bloke!

Well I'd rather be easily pleased than often miserable.
It's not like he's just saying what he needs to to get onside, DC/Salisbury fans told us he was a genuinely good bloke who will always give 110%. I started watching Rovers at Twerton, when the players gave their all and the fans would appreciate it. Everyone wants a winning team, but first and foremost I want players with the right attitude and workrate that deserve to be paid our entrance fee. Stu Sinclair gave his all on Saturday and was rightly applauded, he can't do anymore. The fact he was MOM and showed some quality is an added bonus.
It's not just Stu Sinclair either. Matty Taylor was at the open day having his face painted, can you imagine JJOT doing that? If going down to the Conference means we can get players that are decent people and put a proper shift in, then maybe its not such a bad thing after all because its certainly been lacking the last few years.

Nails firmly hit on the head there CG - I thought the exact same comparison re Matt Taylor and JJ when I saw the photo from the funday.

Agree with most of the above posts - the bloke is exactly the type of player I am pleased to see playing for Rovers. He is relishing his opportunity here and is enthusiastic, which is something we haven't had for a good few years now. SS has the attitude and excitement any of us would have if we were ever given a professional contract.
I too smiled throughout a lot of the interview and I loved his answer about the kit already being in his car. Also, with no hesitation, he said he wanted/expected 6 points from our two away games, which gives me great optimism as a Gashead heading to Barnet tomorrow night.
I really like the bloke.

Its nice to have players you want to support rather then slap for a change. I think that also buys them more time and support from the fans.

You might want to reconsider the team you support then! I'm not knocking the lad, just saying.......1 game, an interview and he is a hero? I'm not sure. Just like the team/manager, il give it a few games prior to licking ar5eholes if that's ok. He had a cracking game on Saturday btw. Hope he keeps it up otherwise our fickle fans will be hounding him out pre Xmas.

seems like a cherpy geezer, although I'm not too sure but I got the impression he thinks we will grow into the season but need to be more clinical.

I still think he would benefit from a good shave and a short back and sides.
But that's just me.

I know its early days, but Stu reflects everything a Gashead is....down to earth, genuine, hard working. This is Rovers of the fifties and the Twerton era and I love the guy already, did you see him run to the fans and have his pic taken? This goes back to the roots of football when fans and players were one. Every cloud certainly has a silver lining
