Right that's it where's my vaseline and cucumber? to quote a pantomime favourite:
"it's behind you"

I often wonder if we should all go visit these websites and leave them similar sorts of messages, left reviews etc saying www.gaschat.co.uk your best place for jovial Bristol Rovers banter and news.

they've got bots that could bring this site down with an advert a second so probably not a good idea....

Or perhaps just leave reviews for their business online that tell people to stay clear of shoddy work

Hold it open and shove it in? thats all very well, but what about the spam threads I don't know that there is anything we can do. I delete some of these every day and I know other mods do the same. Proboards need to set up a firewall banning all guerrilla mail email addresses from making new accounts. support.proboards.com/thread/440940/serious-problems-spam-bots

how does one solve a problem like this? serious qu When I used to administer websites and forums, the best way was to keep use a captcha and keep it bang up to date. It probably isn't possible for this forum but I also used to ban at an a country ip level as I knew people using the forums would only be from one or two countries. I would then ban ip's from countries who were where I wanted traffic on an individual level when a bot got through.
