So his career has been infinitely better than Bodin's had before Billy joined us. Funny you say that, the comments from Port Vale fans were similar to the comments Torquay fans made about BB when he joined. DC seems to be able to get the best from these sort of players.

Good stuff. Would be nice to get our business done early. Guessing that's why Matty is making his decision soon rather than later so we're not scrambling around looking for a replacement. I'd put money on fact we have a replacement waiting in wings! But I also think matty will sign else he'd be gone by now if rumours of big money were ever true

Will this mean Bodin up top (as Taylor's replacement) with Moore on the right I wonder? Or Montys on his way to Northampton.

Monkhouse nor Montana were hardly outstanding wingers before they joined us but they did the job needed. Can't really see what fans have to complain about with his signing.

i read somewhere that the new guy prefers left side midfield and i reckon he will start the season as 1st choice in that position. dont understand why people want bodin to play as a striker when hes been so effective on the right?

Tweet from Moore this morning:
"I must admit I've not been the same player over the last two years, but now it's time to move on and do my brother proud."
Fair play to him.

Bodin up front wouldn't work, or at least he wouldn't be as effective. Anyone who watches his goals again (cutting inside etc.) will see that there's a reason why Bodin is successful out there.
Dan Holman at Cheltenham please if Taylor goes, very similar striker and scored 30 goals in the Conf last season (1 pen). Obviously hope Matty stays though.

Not wishing to belittle Taylor's record but how many of his 27 goals were pens?
