I expect to see investment in all aspects of the club this season, on and off field.
Immediately, on field I would expect two or three further signings to add to the quality of the squad. Off field, I expect initial investment will improve the facilities at the Mem and the back office operations.
Longer term I expect investment in a new stadium and new training facilities - not necessarily in that order.
However, you don't always get what you expect!

Because there is no evidence of money going towards the future of the club already...

Because there is no evidence of money going towards the future of the club already... No? Few months ago we had some fairly significant loans hanging over the club's head?

Because there is no evidence of money going towards the future of the club already... Apart from the Wonga loan which was repaid(something that had to be done) and the loan signing of McBurnie, I haven't seen much more evidence. Oh yeah the supporters club shop got a lick of paint...

I'm hoping for investment in the new stadium and a training ground, unless we need to pay a transfer for MT's replacement then I'm not sure how we'll work out if Wael's invested in the team?

I don't think it is worth aiming for the Championship until we have a new stadium.
The Championship is full of clubs with Premier league parachute payments and it will cost a fortune just to avoid relegation with a very small chance of gaining promotion. To sum it up, the Championship will just drain financial resources as Yeovil have, and i'm sure Burton will too discover.
Everything possible will need to be done to ensure we have funding and agreement for a new stadium in place as early as possible.

I'd happily accept that, as long as we don't get relegated we are probably at the right level for the next 3-4 years, hopefully by then we will be in the right position to push for the championship.

A nice steady improvement, take a deep breath for maybe a season or 2, training ground, stadium under way, youth progressing nicely, then put it all into place and go for it.

I think many of us are understandably sceptical, but I wouldn't underestimate the benefit of Wael immediately paying off the MSP Capital loan. There appears to be a common sense approach of incremental improvement, evolution not revolution, that would rule out expensive marquee signings, but keeps a happy squad and management team together and starts to put right the institutional failings off the field. Coats of paint and new toilets may not cost a great deal, but it was money that the previous board was not willing or able to spend.

and the small matter of securing £40 million to build a new stadium and the new training ground, but what have the romans ever done for us hey ? The £40m will of course need to be repaid. If we just mooch around in league 1 for a couple of years, the crowds will drop. We need to keep trying to progress. Any doubt about that will cost us money. This is why we must have progress with the new stadium.
