I heard a "rumour" that 1983 Ltd had offered to buy a set of red and white quarter shirts for the match.

I think the club has scored an own goal with the revealing of this seasons kit. We all know that the manufacturer has changed, but to keep the new kit under wraps until 1st August when we have the open day is a bit strange. You like to see what you are buying before purchasing. Maybe all could be revealed in Catalonia. To go there with no normal strip would be an insult to CB Sabadell and the 500 or so gasheads who are making the trip. What will the club do if fans don't like the new home and away strips? Time for a revealing now please Bristol Rovers FC! Well said and if Oxford can do this...(from their website):- 600 fans follow the U's to Spain Oxford United won their first game in Spain 2-0 tonight, beating Alhaurin de la Torre through goals from two of their home grown players, Josh Ashby and James Roberts. It wasn’t about the game really though. To take 600 fans to an away game is one thing, to take that number to a pre-season friendly in southern Spain is, basically, insane. And yet there they were, braving the heat to hang banners and prepare a fantastic welcome for their new look team; fans and players alike sporting the brand new home kit.
