Perhaps several good reasons we dont ever want to play in the Premier League ...copied and pasted from another site.
A Premier League fan;
So you want nearly a thousand pounds for my season ticket?
And you want the money up front to secure my regular seat before the end of the current season?
Oh, and because of the ticket demand you wont let me transfer to a more desirable seat?
Has the guy who sits next to me with bad BO renewed his ticket?
Oh, cup ties and any European games are extra?
Travel?
Do I get the over crowded train and join the long queue on exiting so that I can have a couple of pints?
Oh, you charge more than the local pub for a beer and I get it in a plastic mug?
And I can't take my beer to my seat?
Okay, I will drive and spend ages looking for somewhere to park and pay the price of 3 of your pints of beer to display a ticket.
On exiting I will sit in traffic for over an hour going nowhere.
Anyway, at least I will be able to buy a coffee in the ground?
Oh, its a cup of powder and you provide the hot water and charge me the same price as a small jar of Nescafè?
I might have a burger too? Oh! They are cooked off site, delivered in a heated box and covered in tin foil and then sit under a hot lamp for 3 hours and you charge twice the price of Burger King?
At least the players will be playing for the shirt?
They earn what?
Oh, and that number 10 doesn't want to go into a heavy tackle because he's off to the African Cup of Nations in January and the number 13 has a virus just as Real Madrid are sniffing around and he doesn't want to get cup tied in the Champions League?
What about playing the kids?
Oh, about fifteen of them are out on loan and the 18 year old youth centre forward's agent is kicking up a fuss as his contract is up and Manchester United will up his £8,000 per week wages?
Oh, his agent is one of the big boys and regularly makes over £10m per year from his clients transfers?
