Was all geared up to go on the train, but if it's going to be hassle I'll just drive. I remember parking in a side street last time, but it was a lot of restricted parking with permit holders only, and took a while to find a space.!

I think the cricket club usually lets away fans in, and does food.

You sure about this? BEP reported problems from Parkway, not TempleMeads. National rail web site saying that BTM -> Swindon no issues.

Chatting to my mate in Chelsea last night, and he was online looking at trains for Saturday. He said the problem was both temple meads and parkway going to Swindon? I have not looked myself to be fair?

We parked in the fire station on the double roundabout last time, think it cost a tenner, straight in, straight out. And went in the Sportsman bar in the centre which was packed with Gas. Try and do the same again. This is the 2nd game I look forward to, after the the sh**.

To get around this I suggested to the wife that she goes to the outlet centre in Swindon after dropping me off at a boozer before the game, then she can pick me up on the way back. I get dropped off close to a pub, don't have to worry about parking and I can have a few. Only downside is that it will cost me whilst she's shopping.
