I don't think we will see any permanent signings just a load of not wanted anywhere else loans
No money left in the pot
Would not surprise me if we sold Lockyer as well.......

Time seems to be runniong out for any decent laon signings so you sense if we do sign anybody it'll be anothert two bench warmers. It'll be interesting tosee if DC can pull this season around again, or the doom merchants are finally proven right.

If we win our next game which is at home and very winnable then we'll have w 2 d1 l 2 and we'll be smack bang in mid table which I think will have been a good start. The doom merchants are out in force yes but it's very early days.

We have gone from "I expect to have another 2 in by Wednesday" last week to "I am working through my list of targets. Some managers are going to panic buy but I'm not going to panic. I expect there will be a couple of bids for some of my players but I will resist those"
In other words I think, from the comments made by the 2 loans that they probably weren't first choice for their positions. DC is now exhausting the possibilities and is at the "well, I suppose he would be better than nothing but not even my third choice really" end of the list. I don't think we'll sign anyone else and it will be spun as a success if none of our players go.
I think it will prove interesting if the Sh1t try and sign anyone today. Any club they approach is going to do everything in its power to extract as large a chunk of that 11 mill from SS Steves sweaty hands. I wonder how. much they had to pass to Angers in selling on fees?

I get the feeling nothing will happen. Someone will try and bid for MT and Lockyer, but we won't budge. Unfortunately, I get the feeling DC has ballsed up with transfers this window. Hope we have enough to get through to January. I also hope im wrong and we get a couple in, although I ain't confident!

Didn't think it's been that bad.....yet! UTG!

It's the same sh*t as last season, and the same sh*t as the season before that. We start slowly and DC is clueless, our players aren't good enough, and there's no money. Then the squad kicks in to gear and things pick up and we strengthen in January before going on an excellent run and DC's the messiah again. Fickle isn't the word. Some on here make Arsenal fans seem level-headed.

Yes good post. There. I do think we need a bit more quality, yes, but we have to give them a chance.
Plymouth just signed someone from The Subsidory of a Franchise 1982 LTD, so hopefully Boateng wont be going there, and come to us, as Argyle say thats their business done.

Marcus Stewart's post match interview didn't fill me with confidence that we would end up making any signings today. Hope I am proved wrong.
