I bet they get to the premier league way before we do The best we can achieve in the next 5 years is high end League 1/bottom championship with out current ground setup Bournemouth seem to be doing alright with their ground. Remind me how may Billions their Russian owner has ?? i Guess a lot more than Pantsdown

No, I'll tell you what is pathetic. Playing professional footballers in a fans' derby charity match just so they can stuff us out of sight. That is really *ing pathetic. Sad bunch of w***ers. Agreed, Spare a thought for me as i played and had to pick the ball out of the net ! I wasnt in the spirit of the whole game and ended up being a "Lee Trundle" testomonial. However the charity was the real winner and i had the opportunity to play at the mem

This thread is bullsh1t for one reason: it claims City fans can "think".

Certainly enough material here to warrant at least a 300 page thread on that shitfest they call Otib...

Sorry, I should correct myself, it doesn't say they can think it says they "agreed" which I take to mean they stopped chucking their poo at you and started screaming and clapping their hands. Agreement.

"golden age" is a bit over the top! If Bristol was any other city with the exception of Sheff and Notts it would be the worse age of the cities football.
we have some momentum and change, but give it a few defeats, any unhappiness in the camp, however well we are being run we could be back in the bottom flight.
the other lot - going nowhere they will be stuck in the championship.

What amazes me about C1ty fans is their obsession with all things Gas. They now have a 332, yes, 332 page thread on us.
If that weren't enough, they look for every opportunity to further discuss us on other threads on that sh**-fest of a website.
For example, there is a thread about some Blackburn fans flying to India to confront the Venkys about the way the club is being run.
After a few comments the pointy headed 6 fingered retards start inventing parallels and links with the Gas. They even discuss how Blackburn have lived beyond their means, funded by a rich sugar daddy and now a more pragmatic regime has taken over they will find their true level, which in their exalted, considered opinion is league 1, "about the same as Bolton."
Deluded Tnucs, almost beyond belief!

You all ignore the elephant in the room - the snotty, pseudo intellectual middle class snobs who effectively run Bristol. They ain't gonna see Bristol become a football city.

I just wondered if the Trundle appearance had been agreed between both managers? Great effort by everybody involved to raise money.

Yep, exciting times ahead as Bristol football is finally fulfilling its potential. Don't get the hatred a lot of fans spit about the City. Take the p*ss and have a laugh at their expense by all means, but some of it is just beyond belief. Pathetic in fact. This. Not sure about wild claims to be our greatest ever manager though. Mr Tann may have something to say about that. Personally I think that there are plenty of kids who support either side who are not born with the attitude expressed by some so called adult supporters of either club. It is pathetic, unbelievable really in grown men (and women)

Yeah f**k Bristol City, the very thought of them makes my stomach start to turn, literally. Damn right I can't wait for the day we beat them in the league (it's coming and they know deep down they're worried about it).
But right now, let's keep em off the gas forum.
I love our team, I love our manager & I love our new lot in box 1. Let's hope they're in Box 1 at the new Gas stadium sooner rather than later!
UTG!

What does your heavy heart agree with Hugo? The fact that C1ty played retired pro's ; or the question as to whether someone went to watch?

I went today with a few city mates of mine to the fans derby. It was a quality afternoon, shared by the people of Bristol for a wonderful cause - I'm proud to be a Bristolian tonight, both blue and red. Anyway,I was just watching a few videos on you tube of the past two seasons promotions, starting with our relegation in 2014. I was speaking to a few city fans about bristol football and all the City fans agreed with what a class guy wael is and where we as a club are heading. A new ground is around the corner (even if it's another 5 years before we are in it) we have an incredible owner, with a professional board behind him that will take us to the promise land given time in the right way with us building from the ground up. We have our greastest ever manager in charge of us with a proven track record who is young, that also loves our club along with its history and it' supporters. And on the other side of town like him or not, Landsdown has put his money where his mouth is and has recreated BCFC into a premiership outfit that will surely get into the top flight sooner rather than later... Not sure about you but the way we are planting those seeds for the future, and with city being run as they are today it wets the Appetite for what could become a golden generation for Bristol football at the top level in a way that's never been seen before for both the Blue and Red sides of our town.UTG I'm all for credit where it's due, but I can't ever see myself being happy about any succes those feckers have.
