I'm hoping for 442
Roos, Leadbitter, Hartley, locks, brown Bodin, lines, boateng, montano, Taylor, James
Although I think Ellis is more likely to start.

Roos J Clarke Hartley Lockyer Brown Boteng Lines Colkett Easter (Diamond) Taylor Harrison I still have nightmares from the Twerton days and Malcolm Allisons 'diamond'! God did we ship some goals and get the run around. That was my immediate thought as well. Maybe we could bring back his Christmas tree formation too

Roos J Clarke Hartley Lockyer Brown Boteng Lines Colkett Easter (Diamond) Taylor Harrison Why would anybody want to see J Clarke at RB at home against Rochdale when, we've got two attacking RB/RWB in Leads & Roberts? JC's a good CB/defensive RB but surely not what we want today? Clarke has started the season in better form than Leadbitter and has shown more of a willingness to get forward this year. Didn't he also score twice in pre-season?

I agree to a point but I don't know anything about Rochdale, their left winger might be their best player in which case I wouldn't be surprised to see James Clarke at right back. DC will have done his homework and he'll pick the side accordingly. I hope we attack and don't defend too deep that's the main thing the way I see it. Can't wait for the match , I went to Swindon and Chelsea and it feels like ages since our last game, for home match only goers it must feel like an eternity.

I'm mystified by the lack of width in today's team, we've 4 wingers and 2 RWB all dropped! Sounds like another dour first half coming up, hopefully, I'll br wrong on that score as well.

Interesting line up...... Subs to happen..... 1)Chelsea boy to replace Easter in second half. Straight swap same formation. 2)sinclair replaced by Harrison....4-3-3 possibly 3) many possibilities depending on how game is going......possibly bodin /Taylor replaced by gaffney/james
