The bloke who stands outside the memorial gates on a match day, who looks like he's collecting for charity, and is actually collecting for 'positive causes' isn't a charity, and he's collecting the money for himself and his 'positive causes' which is a scam.
Not sure, there might be another one by the other entrance, too.

That's pretty awful, surely Rovers can police this.

That's pretty awful, surely Rovers can police this. I asked the steward by the gate about it, and he was a bit non-committal. The trouble is, I guess, it's actually outside the ground.

Publicise this as much as possible. Then ignore them and encourage others to do the same. Ask uncomfortable questions about where the money goes. Ask if he's a registered charity. Ask if he's registered with HMRC as a charity, and or VAT registered. He should get the message.

Pretty disgusting to be honest, I always give to charity whenever I can afford to do so. I'll definitely be asking them questions next home game.

Or just give the bloke a kicking ? Just take the money and give it to the young pirates innit. Then drop the geezer and spit on him.

if you like the charity and would like to support it do so....
if you don't like the charity and don't want to support it don't....
I don't see what the problem is here....

Or just give the bloke a kicking ? I am not going to condone violence in any way, shape or form, ever. However in this case a damn good kicking is probably the best course of action. 5 points off the top of the table and hitting form. UTG!
