Where do I say my football knowledge is on a different level to yours? Anyhow...am interested in your answer to my question...despite wining well yesterday, do you think we should have started with a different formation? as clearly from this thread at least one person does! Apart from, I think, the Walsall game (where Etheridge played a blinder) in every match DC's had to change formation to grind out a result in the second half, so you do have wonder what would be the outcome if we started 4-4-2 every home game rather than mess about with odd formations every home game before reverting to 4-4-2. Although nobody is really criticising DC but just putting forward their own views, which surely it what the forums all about? It is obviously only ever going to be hypothetical as you can't change past events . But. What if they had started 4-4-2 and still go one goal down ?

DC ? Is that you ? ........ Nope just somebody who understands football and is happy to defend the only manager in our 100 year odd history to gain B2B promotions, and is doing a great job. Don't tell me despite us winning well yesterday you would rather we had started with a different formation??? I think that it is a throwback to the Conference when we started quickly and strong, and tried to pound teams from the off. We seem a little bit "Oooer" now we are in Division One

I'm clearly not worthy to debate with you as your knowledge of football is on a different level to mine and others on here , DC is a football god who doesn't make mistakes and anyone who dares question him knows nothing about football. I'm sorry for replying to your post sir , I'm not worthy. Where do I say my football knowledge is on a different level to yours? Anyhow...am interested in your answer to my question...despite wining well yesterday, do you think we should have started with a different formation? as clearly from this thread at least one person does! By saying you understand football, your implying that people who see it differently do not. We know how our manager works and likes to try to nullify opponents first half and use his subs to go for it in the second half injuries permitting. But i do not agree we won well yesterday, but we won. It would be nice at home to sometimes go for it from the off instead of making most first halves a borefest.
