I feel someone preparing a lawsuit....... If someone is to gain from a drainpipe incident then I'm ready to launch my claim from the damage caused by the rusty roof at Twerton Park! #prayforthepopularside #rustyroof

Yes it landed on my cousins young son, lucky it didn't cause an injury. Glad you found it so hilarious. It's high time the flimsy embarrassment of a stand was replaced with something more sturdy as we will be still here for at least another 2 years. Then he was sat with the Port Vale supporters then, for it was at that side of the stand Yes that's correct, he was sat in the Port Vale supporters. Why the wink?

Jeez yet again with the knicker twisting. Rovers haven't designed a drainpipe which can withstand a football being drilled against it at 80 miles per hour. Woe is me! I demand Wael thrash himself with a branch in the centre circle at the next home game! I am not knicker twisting about the drainpipe too much am I but those that thought it funny when it could have caused injury to a young boy (but fair enough for apologising) but more at the poster above who basically accused me of inventing a story because it happened on the Vale side of the stand. Obviously the concept of having relatives from different parts of the country is a bit of a challenge for some people. Can I just say now my cousins live in Coventry and are Cov fans and they will be down on Boxing Day in case any part of the Mem hits them I reserve the right to refer to this post when explaining it

I wouldn't have thought so,no one got injured. You thought wrong. Psychological damage will be big with this one. Not really. No one was injured physically and I would like to see blame apportioned to some one for 'psychological' injury. Ellis being the only person liable I would have thought. The maintenance man at a push but that would be clutching at straws!

Will be sat in amongst the Sheffield supporters tomorrow night so have informed my solicitor to prepare my claim if any part of their stand falls on me.

Finding humour in the event seems to have been a pretty standard reaction.

Just to remind you this is what I wrote "Then he was sat with the Port Vale supporters then, for it was at that side of the stand" Either you don't read very well or you have accused me of saying something I have not. As for the wink, I thought a smiley face was inappropriate. Having said that the old Bill had a smiley face.

Was the drainpipe injured in all of this?...and will it be fit for the next game? I can confirm that once the maintenance professional attempts to put it back in place with a large hammer that it will be unavailable for the foreseeable future
