Glad about the smoke bombs and hopefully the no pyro no party brigade will wind their necks in now As for the streaming I've been guilty by association in enjoying the streams when cant get to the marches but do wonder if the people doing it were not part of a betting syndicate would the club have taken a different view. Probably not as its not allowed full stop but have to say I'm a bit gutted for selfish reasons if nobody streams again going forward but would totally understand the risks involved

'Betting syndicate'
Don't people just stream matches to betting websites so people can watch matches they've bet on? I mean, I know it's illegal but it's hardly the work of the Kray twins?!

The streaming for betting purposes seems quite a big story to me, have never heard of this happening before.

Is live streaming banned full stop at our ground then?
If so, it wasn't so long ago the club were asking fans for video footage to overturn a sending off at Barnet's old Underhill ground.

Why would the club supply their details to the Police, as is it a criminal or civil offence to live stream a match, surely they are only breaking copyright/board casting rights not anything illegal?

A different discussion to live streaming, but to me it's strange that clubs don't officially allow people to film the match on their phones. It can generate thousands of views on YouTube and raise the profile of the club. Unless they're worried that Sky or BT will complain that people won't watch their coverage because of some wobbly video which becomes unwatchable at every goal when they start jumping around.

I guess the problem is if they allowed it somebody one day would turn up with a decent camera set up and broadcast a decent live stream. Although I'm still not sure what interest the police would have though if I filmed a wobbly picture from my smartphone!

Perhaps we can get the police banned for live filming our fans on a match day!

Live streaming the match as part of a betting syndicate? Wtf even is that about? Most in-play bookies sites update their odds from Press Association updates.....every second counts for those wanting to gain a financial advantage on the bookies....

There was a Northampton Fan banned from their ground because he was video blogging, including some match action. From what I can tell he only did what a number of our Fans do, but they barred him from entry & refunded his ticket money.
