Has Jermaine Easter completed his suspension now? Don't think so. I thought it was 3 games & he's only served one.

After 12 games last season - 19pts (11th, 10 pts off top with game in hand)
After 12 games this season - 19pts (8th, 9pts off top with game in hand)
Means f**k all in the grand scheme of things but at least we're not sitting in the relegation zone.

We talk about the big step up in terms of quality from league 2 to league 1, but it's interesting to note that all 4 promoted teams are sitting in the top half of the table, just over a quarter of the way through the season. Nothing to fear. What has the trend been for the last 10 seasons? Who has spoken about the big step up...?

Anyway see colks merc their manager? I didn't think we were special today but found the gills thuggish. Great 3 points. Were Gills really thuggish ? there must have been about 8 or 9 bookings today but I can't remember one bad foul. first half was dire but maybe that was down to Rovers midfield and wing backs being soon deep - I thought DC set us up to play the runaway leaders until I remembered it was gillingham at ht !!

Deserved win against a really poor team. Clear handball and sending off for their keeper missed by the useless ref and lino in the first half. Sorry but I was directly in line with it and he was in his area. Poor booking from Taylor for protesting.

So, his hands must have been as well.

Disappointed with Mildenhall at half-time. I think he took no part in the half-time kick about/warm up and then strolled across the pitch just before the second half kick-off with a cup of tea/coffee in his hand and flaunted it at the other subs. If he doesn't want to be on the bench then I'd rather have Puddy back.

To be fair to mildy he was doing a lot of work with roos before kickoff, but yes he was keen to keep hold of that coffee at half time

No more questions from me in regards to DC team formation / squad rotation as he continuously demonstrates how well he uses his options time and time again, great 3 points today even though we weren't really at the races this team really just don't ever know when they are beaten, really top team led by a truly top manager, I also thought the atmosphere was better today as well. UTG !!!!!!

Yes Mark, they were. As you weren't in the East terrace you missed their player deliberately & with malice aforethought follow through on Bodin when the ball was already out. Maybe no really bad fouls but Gills set tone of the match. Glad they got what they deserved.

In answer to your second question, obviously not everyone but a fair number, particularly at the start of the season. Maybe I shouldn't have said 'we'. In answer to your first question: In the last 10 years, of 40 promoted teams: 3 (8%) got promoted again, 2 (5%) automatically and 1 (3%) through the play-offs. 8 (20%) got to at least the play-offs. 17 (43%) finished in the top half. 23 (58%) finished in the bottom half. 6 (15%) were relegated. Average (mean) finishing position of a promoted side: 13th
