..I'll be a happy man.
Don't get me wrong I love the terrace but that was impressive tonight for a 'bowl'. If that's an identical design (apart from the top tier) to ours, happy days. Hassle free experience from start to finish. Urinals to spare at half time. Space. Good atmosphere created by us when it got going. Bring it on, time to move forward.
Obvs the result helped.

I went tonight to sample what the UWE should be roughly like if you subscribe to the view it's a sister design. Thought the bar facilities were naff and claustrophobic, and that the concourses could've been closed off to allow more spaced out, relaxed drinking room. Food facilities were poor but that's an implementation concern. After seeing their crowds and atmosphere we definitely shouldn't o for the 27k option.
Other than that it will be epic. The crowd piped up with a rendition of goodnight Irene when I was queuing for a tea and it sounded absolutely immense in the concourse - if we can fill in enough fans then there's nothing to say the atmosphere can't improve on the Mem.
Prefer our glassed roof approach as well... details!

Milton Keynes are a club with no history and is without the surrounding filled with fans like we have here in Bristol, Kingswood being a gas area for example. That stadium tonight is exactly what we should aspire for, if we aspire for anyhing less than a club founded in 2004 then theres something wrong. We have huge amounts of potential, we are competing on the pitch in a serious way. I am sure if we keep momentum going we would do a good job filling our own stadium if it was identical to thiers.

Although, I did enjoy the meal along with three pints of peroni across the road in TGI Fridays; shame we played so badly, but still managed to mug MK for a point.

I guess what I was trying to get at was the impact of the utilisation of the stadium makes for a bad atmosphere even if you are a club with history. If we went for 27k straight away it would be 1/3rd full typically and would be a bit depressing. I guess it depends how quick we can get to the championship. on plastic fans, the lack of history and identify was very obvious tonight given lack of fans and the awful home atmosphere.

We went in Frankie & Bennies, Family platter for 3/4 £24.95. Three adults & we struggled to eat it all. It is a great looking stadium inside, abart from the Loo's I never sampled any of the other facilities. Good view from our seats/standing towards the rear of the lower tier and plenty of room to move around. The only problem we will have at UWE is the lack of infrastructure around the ground, The food outlets at Abbeywood retail park will not cope due to size like those at stadium MK. UTG

I believe the design of the UWE Sports complex will use a Non concourse design, but individual banks of "Pens" with their own facilities etc This allows more space for extra money making facilities like restaurants/bars etc which can be used during non match day PS Can we have a Hooters please

Awful stadium. No thanks. Good job a beam back option will be incorporated into the UWE and Mem Stadiums, so you can stand on the Tote End when we have over crowding in our new stadium whilst watching Premier/European Football :-) That's assuming of course you like that kind of football

Live football on telly is for Tories.

I quite liked it as well, but I do wish the seating was steeper, more like the Majdeski. Didn't really have a decent view of the pitch until I stood in the back row.
If safe standing becomes legal in the top two divisions, it would be quality behind the goal at the home end with that design.
Important we would have bar areas more like the Dribuild bars and less like the concrete shells of last night
