My guess is he won't get any game time in order to avoid a clause in his contract...

He was a class player who still has great skill (Walters-esque free kick last season and a couple of inch perfect through balls to Brown dissecting the opposition defence), however he can't physically complete - especially pace, anymore.
The thing that upsets me is that he seems to blame others for not covering him when he loses his man. That can't be good for team morale if he starts a blame culture.

Well, he did a job for us, not much of one, but he did it. His won-loss record in the quarters is probably pretty excellent, so he doesn't really need to get vilified. I guess he was the 'last piece of the puzzle' player that DC brought in for last season, in a similar way that Lines was the year before. And that plan seems to work, even if LL himself didn't excel.

I know it's a bit of a shocker in the DC era but perhaps he's just still out injured?

Won us game with a FK and an assist.
Points we would have still been in L2 without.
He's past his best but some acknowledgment of this must be made.

Couple of useful games last season but not as influential as I hoped he'd be. Actually thought when he came back for pre season he was ready to make "a statement" looked leaner and keener. Then the unfortunate injury and a recurrence when he was getting back to fitness again. Now two young hungry midfielders have been brought into the mix both he and Manse are on the fringes. Both are senior professionals who will be good influences on the training ground, dressing room and performance of the Rovers in the community agenda but I fear they will not get much opportunity to be good influences on the pitch this campaign.

Unfortunately he's a player that was clearly happy to pick up a contract with a league one club in the summer and thanks to DC offering contracts to everyone pre season he got his wish, a good player and he has played well for us at times, can pick a good pass and had fantastic experience to pass on to Ollie Clarke, boateng and colkett a they learn to ply their trade, potentially he could have been promised a coaching role at the back end of this season ?
