Beat Oxford 2-0 away in the FA youth cup. Another young Mehew amongst the goals.
One more win and we could get the big boys. I remember the 2-2 v Liverpool (lost on pens) in front of over a thousand at the Mem. Elliot Richards got two and Mark Cooper was oustanding. Can't understand how he only played a handful of games for Newport in the Conference based on this game.
Ollie Clarke looked excellent also, before the first of his (3?)really bad injuries. (How good would he be if he was not restricted by these?) - an extra yard of pace lost at least.
I recall the Liverpool keeper moving before each Rovers penalty and being at least ayard of his line for ALL our kicks.
Chelsea at the Mem in round three would be good!

A few decent players this year. This is what we by the 50/50's for.
Good to see the restructuring helping the new stars of the future. How many will Chris Hargreaves develop into the first team in the next three years?
Watch out for the new Duke - Lewis Ellington.

Talking of which, does anyone know how Ollie and Blake Davies are doing at Forest green ?

Well done boys. They are a credit to the club on and off the pitch. They always say hello to my boys if we come across them around the Mem or Golden Hill.
