13 mile trip for me, who's going?
Should take 800 plus I'd imagine?

I've been to the old Den once, that was enough to put me off for life, have things improved at the New Den, or should Gasheads prepare themselves for a trip back to the dark ages?

Went there once in 70s and got a brick through the window of the coach I was on. Also the last match at the Den when we won and got relegated I think. TBH always felt I was proving a point going there and never really enjoyed it, always waiting for the crap to kick off. Think I'll give it a miss. Always get the impression they are cretins and seem to be proud of it. I know most clubs have them but Millwall seem to have more than most. But total respect to gas who go! Strange thing is London matches are easier to get to than some of the northern matches for me, so will look forward to Charlton, Wimbledon just not this bunch of Neanderthals. UTG!

Bought my tickets yesterday. Got to admit our last trip there was a bit iffy but that was because we found ourselves on the Millwall side of the police cordon at the station (schoolboy error!) I am confident all will be fine

One wonders why their "fans" don't realize they're denying their club revenue. But hey ho.

I have been to the new ground 3 or 4 times (in my car) and I have never had any problems. That said, I wasn't in a big group.

Me and my lad are going but my missus is giving this one a miss. It's very rare for me to get the supporters coach to a game but I've read enough warnings on football websites to make me think it's safer on the coach for this game so that's what we're doing.
Things I've read are :- - Don't go in the pubs near the ground. - don't be seen wearing opposition colours. - safest mode of transport is official supporter coach. - if travelling by train, make way to London Bridge tube and then get designated train with police escort.
It may all be scaremongering but I doubt all of it is wrong so I'm playing it safe for this one.
Anyway, isn't this club well know for fighting among themselves if there aren't any away fans to fight with?

Been to Millwall a few times but only by train. Around London Bridge are some nice old fashioned watering holes and quite friendly.
Getting to the ground From London Bridge train station, we took the overground to South Bermondsey,I think, which stops right outside the Den. Cross over the track and there is a fenced in walkway right to the away section turnstyles! After the game can be a bit nervey when everyone mixes on the platforms but I've never seen any problems.

Will be going. Done it a few times before and no problems at the New Den, unlike the old one.

Went on the train last time - was fine - although did seem a bit of a mess on the station and the train as both sets of fans seemed to mix having been kept well apart around the ground but still no trouble that I saw.

After the last game at The Den, the New Den almost feels sterile in comparison!
