The club tweeted this afternoon less than 400 tickets remaining for the Thatcher's end, so it was always going to sell out in that area. Not sure why they said different on the phone!

the responses are appreciated guys.... basically I'm getting the impression that by turning up at 7.15pm means you've got less chance of getting in than if you rock-up at 7.50.... where's the justice in that? I was there at about 7.30pm, spoke to two stewards at two different locations and went home at about 7.35pm. Neither suggested there was any chance of getting into the stadium as a pay on the day fan. Also, was listening to Radio Bristol from 7.10 until 7.25, at no point was there any suggestion on there that there would be no space for those without tickets. We're not all on Twitter...... Fuming I didn't get to see us win. Happy we won. Club needs to learn lessons from this

My friend was told at the ticket office at 7:20 that he could pay cash on the turnstile, walked over the Blackthorn and began lining up before being told no cash sales. Being a season ticket holder I rocked up at 7:40 and got in no problems but I could hear some understandingly frustrated people around me.
Obviously the club can't do anything about it if lots of people show up at once but I feel like they should've made it more well known to people about a lack of tickets available in the Thatchers.

being a season ticket holder, I decided to use the offer of bring a friend for free for the Fleetwood game which all went well.... have tickets, sorted.... now, at about 2pm my mate asked me if he could bring his 8 year old son, I wasn't sure so I rang the club who assured me that it was pay on the day at turnstiles, despite the fact that I offered to pre-pay and collect, they told me that wouldn't be necessary.... I arrived at the ground to find it was sold out.... why, oh why, oh why, waste people's time and effort. I don't ever give my season ticket away, but tonight I had to because I had an excited 8year old kid with his dad that were there to cheer on the gas..... alas I got the number 76 bus home (sweet irony) and I'm mega pi55ed off.... Think yourself lucky the bus turned up!

How is there no pay on the day and a reliance on away terracing if we only had an attendance of 10,088?
Was it unused tickets or something?
The east terrace felt pretty rammed tonight.

There could have been a late surge of Fleetwood fans arrive! In all seriousness though this should have been made all ticket when the offer was originally advertised.

It was like sardines on the east terrace so me and my mate moved down to the away end at half time and we had loads of space.
The stewards came down and told us about it during the first half.
My issue is if they knew there were only 41 away fans, why not do that from the off?
Would have saved loads of people the stress and turning people away when you have space is awful business.

You will see when we score that terrace is full of celebrating Gasheads. We thought a load of Fleetwood fans had turned up late at first. The bit that's normally empty between the aways fans and the East Terrace was also full in the end. I know. I was just pointing out that before that there was literally one away fan on the away terrace.

Great gesture by yourself. Rover have no idea how deal with customers effectively on match days when there is a bit of a crowd. Last night around 7.40 there appeared to be one fella mumbling about being able to use the away end to a massive gathering outside the blackthorn turnstiles, there needed to be somebody their with a loud microphone shouting out the options.

No wonder the club opened the terrace for home fans, did not want any pasty's going to waste!

I guess it doesn't take rocket science to work out if we had 9,000+ home fans on Saturday if we offered something like 2,500 to 3,000 free tickets, we could have a lock out last night in the home ends? Why didn't the club plan ahead with using the away terrace for home fans, as they did with Alfreton in the past?

Blackthorn and East terrace both looked rammed. Quite a few empty seats in the South Stand but seemed like more than 10,000.
