We have the perfect opportunity now to play the team we want at Pompey. Treat the game at Crawley as an outing for 5 not playing regularly (e.g. Big Mac ) with the remainder regulars if need be. Then on Tuesday we can drop the regulars as we only need to retain five from the previous game. Then play those who need a run out plus under 18's against Pompey. (Or even under 10's) That is a great suggestion as it gets round the Trophy rules BUT I'm not certain that DC noes not want to win and progress further in the competition.
DC is paid to win matches whatever the competition and im sure with his squad rotation nobody is in need of a rest. In my opinion there has never been a better time to win this competition, what with weakened sides sent out and poor home support nullifying home advantage somewhat. I wouldn't go, but im guessing not many would boycott Wembley would they?

Nope I don't think if we made Wembley we would let the team down with any boycott - after all we know how much those turds on OTIB would put any morals aside to gloat about how many times they've won it infront of the Massive crowds

See this is what I don't get about the boycotting, why would fans boycott every game and then attend the final?
Personally I have never been to a lower league trophy game, but what better way to make a point than having hardly anyone at the final?

I've decided to not go to the -23 games but still go to the normal games. If we got to Wembley and it was against an u -23 side I wouldn't go.

I've been to the previous finals in this competition but don't honestly think I've been to any earlier round games apart from when we played the sh1t, but I wouldn't go to the final this time around were we to make it.

There's a sentence that's never been written on a football forum before. But I do agree. Frustrating because Portsmouth is a venue that we would normally pack out with no problem, I do hope they see the error of their ways and change the format next season. Hopefully we won't be eligible for it next year!
