Another other siblings play for Rovers and city? both sons played ,gary fer us (t'udder for them over the river), Gary at the time did more for diabetes than anyone before, he showed that people with diabetes could achieve their dreams if they looked after their illness. I think thats what you was asking

And of course Gary went on to achieve a much better career and greater things than his sibling ever did

RIP Ray - a sad loss. As a previous poster said 'a true gent' and model professional. A great servant to Rovers, played in almost every position - even emergency goalkeeper!
Scored a hat-trick when filling in as a striker and for a short player was good in the air - obviously passed this on to son Gary. His best position was in midfield.
As regards the two sons - Kevin had the more natural talent but Gary had the application and desire to reach the top, which despite his diabetes, did so with Spurs and England.

Has this actually been confirmed? There's nothing about it I can see on the internet.

A true Rovers legend.
Imagine having two boys - one playing for Rovers and the other at the City! Two great players as well.
Sad news. RIP.

Very sad news, RIP Ray a true Rovers hero & legend - what a line up that was for my early games at Eastville including the likes of Hall, Hillard, Jones G, Oldfield, Davis, Mabbutt, Hamilton, Jones R, Biggs, Bradford & Jarman.
