Parking:
Travelling south on M23, leave at Junc 11 and take 4th exit off roundabout signed A23 Crawley. ¾ of the way down the dual carriageway, look for parking signs and stewards in hi-viz on left. Turn into Broadfield Business Park where there is free parking. Park up and follow others down small footpath between allotments and another business park. You will emerge outside the stadium opposite the Redz Bar.
If full, continue to the roundabout at the bottom of the hill, go round roundabout and back up the other side of the dual carriageway. Half way up the hill there will be parking signs and stewards at Tilgate Business Park where similar parking arrangements are in place.
Drinking:
This is an edge of town stadium so there aren't many pubs. There are a couple about ten minutes walk away but they are hardly worth the effort, and I don't know when they open.
The Redz Bar at the back of the South Terrace will be open from 10.30am. Small but friendly and welcomes home and away fans. Last time we played there they laid on extra cider choices.
Away fans entrance:
Walk clockwise around the outside of the stadium until you find yourself in a corner and can't walk any further. Away turnstiles are then obvious.
Hats/sunglasses:
The away terrace faces virtually due south. At midday, if sunny, the low sun at this time of year is going be straight into our eyes. A peaked hat or sunglasses may be wise.

If going by train, plenty of pubs near the station.
I am in Crawley for work Monday, if it had been a Sunday game I would have stayed over, just my bluddy luck ;-(

Southern rail are running reduced services on Saturday due to RMT strike. There is a revised timetable on the Southern website.
Also, if coming to Crawley from the south, be aware that due to Lewes Bonfire Night after 12 noon:
1. No trains will be stopping at any stations between Berwick and Brighton.
2. No replacement buses will be stopping between Newhaven and Brighton.
3. Nothing at all will be stopping at Lewes.
Post-match avoid Lewes and the A27 at all costs. Road closures run from approximately 2pm to midnight.
Fireworks - Do not for one nanosecond, think about taking any fireworks to the match. Sussex Police are very experienced in dealing with bonfire night. To quote their website applying county wide "the throwing of fireworks will not be tolerated and will be dealt with robustly". You can expect the magistrate to crucify you.

I do recall a game on or about bonfire night (against Blackburn I think) at Eastville when there were plenty of rockets firing about - which all seemed great fun at the time, but would be totally unacceptable now.

Wickerman is capped at 70,000. They've had 85,000 at Lewes in the past. Last year, it was a wet Thursday night and they had around 25,000. This year it will be a dry Saturday night. I'm guessing 35-40,000. They used to run special trains from London but now actively discourage outsiders.

If you want some decent food and beer in a really nice old country pub stuck in limbo in Crawley, Goffs Manor is just one mile from the ground. It's not for footie fans, but small groups not wearing colours should be ok.
Otherwise the New Moon is just fine. 5 mins walk from the ground and lots of gas heads in there last time we played them.
Google them!
