Looks like Higgs has returned to his arrogant self.
Nice to see him not accepting the blame again and yet again seemingly hanging poor Clarke out to dry.

"We didn't score enough goals" I would like to thank the BOD for working tirelessly throughout the summer to find the root of the problems at the football club. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28865180That table in the BBC link "Bristol Rovers Under Chairman Higgs" makes pretty desperate reading. I know we all know it, but somehow to see it on the BBC Bristol Rovers page makes it look even worse.

A whitewash the 1980's West Indies cricket team would have been proud of!!!
There has not been a review!

Not expecting otherwise does not mean we should accept it. Im shocked how few people seem to care thats even sadder. Oh we care; in my case I took the "review" as a bit of a soundbite, to be something internal, and not something that would be openly shared, but something that could lead to changes in the medium and long term ... so not surprised one bit.

Lets be honest, no proper review has taken place. No board members have looked at themselves and taken any blame for the mess we're in.
The biggest water take is that we were relegated by something that any Rovers fan could of told them after 5 games last season. Which was not having an out and out goal scorer.
Infact Eliot Richards, the only player who was our only player to fit that role was then shipped out to Exeter in return for an overrated, unloyal player who jumped ship without notice!

The Blame Game - Nick Higgs says - Money available, Darrell Clarke says - No money available Just a small example of who you want to believe. The time for excuses must stop, everyone must get on with it. The last thing we need is bickering within the club. it's a scenario probably played out at every football club.

So what is the truth then? Is there money available or not? It is not the first time that the comments of the BoD have differed from those of the manager. As for bickering within the club, that's been going on for years and contributes to the malaise in the club. As for the scenario at other clubs there are 90 others that weren't relegated to the conference so I guess not in most part.

As we all predicted, the intestinal review has shown Higgs is stuffed full of sh**e. The guy is a con

My take originally was that it was an internal review which would not be published. I could never see any of the directors openly admitting they could have made a mistake.

It was always going to be a review carried out by the board and staff. We must now hope they are acting on areas that need improving. They also know they are going to live or die (so to speak) on performances in the coming months.
