Thinking of you Darrell at this sad time, losing your mother has a profound change on your life, and puts everything into perspective, can't believe you actually went to the game, shows what a consummate professional you are, we are very lucky to have you, you have been an inspiration to us. Thinking of you.

Agree wholeheartedly with the sentiments expressed here. But just have to say that yet he still gets unnecessarily criticised & slagged. And no,he doesn't get everything right but damn sure I can easily live with his mistakes.

Agree with tilly, the reality is the majority of us in his position would probably have stayed away with family, the commitment dc has shown yesterday by even turning up is nothing short of amazing, just goes to show that his blood runs blue and white.
We had a long conversation with DC about losing someone close and i remember how much his family means to him, i can't imagine what DC is feeling but i do know it won't be easy for him or his family.
R.I.P DC's Muh ,thinking of you and your family at this time

Amazing strength from DC, he turned up to manage his club at a time of terrible personal grief.
I've got loads of respect for that. Thoughts with him and his family at this dreadful time.

I was told that it wasn't DC's mum but his grandmother. Further that his mum died when he was four and he was brought up by his grandmother.
I just hope people let him grieve in his own way whichever, because either event must be devastating.but give him a show of solidarity on Sunday.

You are correct it was his grandmother that died and no doubt devastating in the circumstances. My condolences to Darrell and all his family.
