Coventry have appointed the ex Cardiff manager, that should be an easy 3 points for us then. Oh hold on they've appointed Slade not Trollope? I'll take back that easy 3 points quote

Coventry are still remembered as a fairly big club by most people, so I would expect they attract bigger than normal crowds everywhere in League 1. Of course in reality they are sh*te nowadays, and the only big thing about them is their mainly empty rented big stadium. Just goes to show what a rash decision it was from them to sell a decent fairly modern stadium and become tenants in a white elephant. Highfield Road 2005: Ricoh Stadium 2015: cant wait to go there,3k plus gas at least

400 Tickets now left in the East stand terrace. With Coventry selling close to 1000, should be about 11,300. As others have said with our current form that's good going.

12,300 according to an article on the new seating, which wikipedia references. We hit just over 11k for the dagenham game where all areas bar the away side of the south stand were filled, so we must have a large loss of capacity for segregation as the new stand is only worth 300 odd seats.

Sorry folks we will be lucky to come out of the next three games with one point Or we could get loads of luck with refs / deflections etc and not get any points or maybe not get any luck and play really well and get all 9 points or perhaps something somewhere in between. We don't know do we but we're going to turn up and support the boys whatever aren't we ?

That's the spirit that made this club great

With the size of our fanbase it should be a sell out, as should wimbledon. With the success over the past two years, our take over and a decent season this far (apart from the past 7 games) I can't see why people say it's a good turnout considering.... The argument of its Xmas, money's short etc.. doesn't cut it - as it's the same for every club.We have a very large fanbase so we should sell out!

By way of direct comparison, below are the only times we have played at home on Boxing Day at the Mem in league 1: 26/12/16 Gas ? Coventry ? Att: 11,000+ 26/12/08 Gas 1 MK Dons 2 Att: 9,002 26/12/07 Gas 1 Luton 1 Att: 7,556 26/12/00 Gas 2 Reading 2 Att: 8,029 26/12/99 Gas 1 Millwall 0 Att: 10,077

Jason Roberts got the winner if I remember correctly? Why can't someone from the club just come out and tell us all what the mem actually officially holds? It will still be a great atmosphere providing we get the 1st goal.

Bristol Rovers playing in the third tier of English football and get a crowd of 11,000+ on Boxing Day! That is a dream attendance considering, prices to watch football, form we are in.... How people find these brilliant attendances as a given I don't know. For me the support is very good, even on the back of promotions which obviously generates new supporters. And a day out at football ain't cheap!

11,000+ is a great attendance, that many people coming to a rusty old ground to watch a 3rd devision football match at a time of year when money will be low is amazing support. Should be one of the biggest in league 1 apart from Sheffield United

The atmosphere was electric.
