By way of direct comparison, below are the only times we have played at home on Boxing Day at the Mem in league 1: 26/12/16 Gas ? Coventry ? Att: 11,000+ 26/12/08 Gas 1 MK Dons 2 Att: 9,002 26/12/07 Gas 1 Luton 1 Att: 7,556 26/12/00 Gas 2 Reading 2 Att: 8,029 26/12/99 Gas 1 Millwall 0 Att: 10,077 I was at the millwall game we got battered for 90 mins ( on the pitch that is! ) and we won 1 - 0 ! Jason Roberts got the winner if I remember correctly? Why can't someone from the club just come out and tell us all what the mem actually officially holds? It will still be a great atmosphere providing we get the 1st goal. Didn't Lee Jones save a penalty as well?

11,000+ is a great attendance, that many people coming to a rusty old ground to watch a 3rd devision football match at a time of year when money will be low is amazing support. Should be one of the biggest in league 1 apart from Sheffield United Imagine how many would come if Rovers had a big modern stadium, somewhere to park, an online 'select your seat' booking system and a better team to watch. This club needs 20,000 seats and soon, before the current enthusiasm (of supporters and the owner) wears off.

225 left by the looks of it. Wonder if they'll all go by midnight tomorrow.

I have heard a few people saying they are bringing their kids to their first "real life" game(s) over the festive period.
I remember how loud the crowd was for my first game v PNE and the pitch invasion!, the sand on the dog track and how mad everyone went when we scored. It was 1980/81 so didn't happen often! However I was hooked.
I honestly believe the crowd can play a huge part. Even if we are one down, Cov will be fragile and if we get one we can definitely get two, even in injury time.
So let's help roar the team on and hopefully some youngsters watching their first game will have a life changing experience and get hooked as well.

We still had 350 unsold East Stand
Coventry had 375 unsold in away standing
Two lots of sterile areas totalling approx 300
Attendance 11,200
Total capacity = approx 12,225.
