A really good gritty performance, nice to see Manse back on the pitch after his injury problems, like to see him start against the Wombles alongside Linsey, after all those boys were our central-pairing last season, and I know Bodin scored a great penalty yesterday, but who can forget Manse's winning penalty against the Codmen at Wemberlee, absolute legend. But why mess about changing a winning team, especially as Manse is unlikely to be fully fit, also what would it do with Ollie Clarke's confidence to be dropped? If I was DC I'd send out and say same again lads, although knowing Tinkerman he'll go back to the damn diamond on Saturday. Pleeeese no !!!

In league position only. Every other aspect of the sport/business sees us very far behind. I'd rather be behind in a glorious vintage motor that's being painstakingly restored than in front in a 1982 cut-and-shut job being driven by a clueless boy racer with more money than sense. Sooner or later the 1982 model is going to crash and burn. You say that but I'd imagine most people would swap our state of affairs for theirs in an instant. I'm mildly amused by those who take the odd moral stance in a game which is littered with fickleness and rapid opinion changes.

We are mid table with a negative GD so they are probably about right.

We are short of confidence and just rolled them over 4 1. could have been more Taylors header, Bodin skying the ball in first Half. if we were poor to average. they might as well prepare for league 2

After scoring we did seem to go to s**t for the rest of the first half, looked a different team for large periods of the second and the score line reflected our dominance.
Haven't seen it mentioned but I was pleased to see Lawrence get ten minutes, might not be physically up to league one but his quality is still there and I'd like to see him end games on occasion.

Very pleased with the win yesterday and the return to form of Billy Bodin. We have missed a player of his calibre who had one thought from the outset; attack and go for goal. The one man show was really the difference between the two sides. The width which Montana added along with Bodin cutting in from the right made for a more attacking Rovers, although Montano second half was a spectator. 4.4.2 certainly suited the players out there yesterday but take away Bodin and that was a poor performance overall. I am surprised no one has mentioned Will Puddys brilliant save second half, full stretch to his left. That shot was hit with pace and had goal written all over it! he had no chance with their goal, a calamity piece of defending with four Rovers shirts marking one player and the ball still ends up in the net! Overall a very good day out. Onwards and Upwards.

Don't think we've looked as composed in midfield as we did with Lawrence and Mansell on in the last ten mins all season. Some fantastic passing going on, would like to see more of that.

I doubt anyone from there will read this because of their general billy big one attitude but anyway... If they did I would warn them that they need to adjust their perspective and get a bit of a reality check. That attitude is exactly what saw us relegated time after time. You go out expecting to have some divine right to be beating teams and are angry when you get turned over by 'minnows' as if there has been some great injustice. You are where you are on merit and they need to accept that and rebuild or they will suffer the same fate we did.

The state they are in its not that unlikely that they could go the same way as Hereford and go bust leaving the fans to start a new club in the Southern league or lower!

I might go out on a limb here but I agree with them. It was definitely more of a case of them being awful than us playing particularly well. I don't want to sounds negative but that is how I seen the game. Don't get me wrong, that was much better than we have been of late but nothing special. When you think Lines, Taylor and Gaffney who have been 3 of our better players this season and none of which really shone yesterday.

Particularly agree with this. Looking at body language I actually think our players like having him between the sticks. Perhaps they have a little more trust in him than we do.

Not sure about that, there was an incident in the first half when Puddy dived in to try and collect on the edge of his area only for our player to clear it from his grasp, taking no chances.

We got so lucky to recover. Not many teams I would wish it on...

That happened twice in the first half but you see that happening quite often unless a massive shout from the keeper which wouldn't have happened in those two cases. Defenders rule..if in doubt kick it out, take no chances.

Looking at the BBC stats we had 29 shots on goal the majority of those on target, from memory thier goalie brought off at least two brilliant saves, from. Taylor, Monty & Bodin, given Coventry aren't getting thrashed each week we must have put in a better performance against them than most teams, or just got lucky and met them on a poor day.

Can only go on what I seen compared to other teams this season and they were bad as Bury. and they did lose 4-1 to Oxford who are below us...

Bury's keeper literally gifted us two goals. We at least had to work for our goals yesterday. Admittedly Coventry gave up after the 3rd went in.
