Nice to see a Manager on a 5 year contract of £8 million a year suggest that. Drop down to League 1, League 2, conference, see how you feel then. Cocky French berk.

Scrap the loan system altogether...well almost. If a club can demonstrate they have an injury crisis in a certain position they can apply to the FA/Football league who will allocate a loan player from another club of equal or higher standing for a set period of time. Clubs should have a squad at the start of the year and stick to it,no transfers either. This may encourage a stronger reserve league and cup system , maybe improve the competitive nature of reserves by encouraging better crowds. Clubs could offer things such as attend three reserve games and get a free first team fixture ticket ? Comments by Mr Wenger just re emphasis the fact the premier league clubs do not see lower league football as of any value ,after all ,they only get contact with a couple of them every year or so when a cup draw occurs and then they are seen as a hindrance on their way to earning better prize money and coverage.

I've been saying that for years, although id completely ban it. I hate the loan rule as it then gives advantage to 'who you know' rather than force clubs to try the youngsters etc and produce the players themselves.
Clubs like Yeovil have made a living using this system and avoid paying much in the way of wages. Fair play to them but borrowing players from other clubs just seems wrong to me.
