Hopeful but nothing concrete. Not much to go on.

DEADLINE is Aug 2017 for stadium deal, both sides still working on it.
Very defensive, keeps saying it has to be good for UWE and Rovers.
If we get it across the line before August, I'll be happy as Larry.
Im pretty hopeful we will get this done sooner than later
We cant keep giving statements everyday, is futile

Geoff said in fairness we havent had an update for a while, HAmer on the defensive saying he cant give a running commentary.
Finances have never been a problem.
The landscape at UWE is always changing....UWE still want it

To be fair Twentyman is pushing Hammer for an answer on what the actual hold up is. HAmer saying its like buying a house, satisfying lawyers etc. 'Theres always something'
Ernst and Young feasibility study, 'nothing found', 'We're content'
Theres no plan B if its not done by August.

He must still be pretty confident, if they are not looking at a plan B yet. If they both want it, think we will get it over the line.

Doesn't sound good for the UWE stadium I'm my opinion.

Basically, nothing we didn't know. But there obviously wasn't going to be a big announcement on the bloody local radio station

The only good news is we got about 7 months until this saga ends. Finally: all the spin: talk: arguments : disagreements will be over and action will speak louder than words. I am glad an end is coming very soon!.

To be fair he can hardly discuss the fine details live on the radio. Told as much as he could , if the deal isn't done by august the uwe won't happen. If both parties are as keen as he says I can't see it not happening.

A site with planning permission is a commercial asset. You don't just shrug your shoulders and walk away from a long term investment if that much is going to disappear from your book value overnight. Certainly not when a little bit of work could put that option back on the table at another site.
