Help! I'm currently sat in a farmhouse, in the jungle,in southern Thailand, I've basically been abandoned for a few hours. It's absolutely f###### it down outside, rendering random moped riding too dangerous. I have several bottles of Chang and a kayak to boat around the flooded rubber plantation. Question is... How can I get the surreal experience of listening to rovers on the mobile, I just found out I could get radio Bristol which was a bit weird, listening to a Bristolian doctor. But for radio commentaries it won't allow. Help!! I have 5 hours to sort this, surely there is a way?

Not strange but listened to the gas in Ibiza, sat around a pool of a 5 Star leisure spa hotel drinking a lovely cool bottle of beer!

Over the last two or three years I have done a lot of work in the USA - strangest match I listened to was in a hotel/casino complex in St Louis. It was 9 am on a Saturday morning, local time, yet the slot machines were all still full with fat American women who had been there all night. They weren't at all surprised by a mad Brit in a blue and white quartered shirt jumping out of his seat and shouting at the top of his voice when Matty T scored the winner.

It's been a nightmare. :-( Ye I've heard how bad the south has been, the seasons are totally shot. Going over near phuket tomorrow which I'm told is much better. It's great that we are all over the place, not sure about tech bringing people together though, part of me feels miles away from anything, and a degree of culture shock, slightly uncomfortable. The other part knows that someone from otib is reading this over a stolen bottle of tenants super strong lager on someone's wall in a street in bedminster right now. And that I could be at home doing exactly as I'm doing now. It's kinda weird and not sure its for the best. What you doing in bgk?

I know what your saying, but I put my saturday's to one side for Rovers whether its somewhere in the world on gas player, at the mem or radio Bristol.. As for being in bkk, my flight leaves in the morning, pondering whether to catch it or not though, work I had to go back to has been put back a few weeks so might stay :-)

Don't bother with Phuket, the place is swarming with Australian miners. They're everywhere like fkn cockroaches. Unless you keen for a sausage fest.
