Im a happy camper. DC and WAQ seem to have bit of a bromance so have faith in them to fulfil the ambitions. A few bumps along the way. Sad that a lot of our hardcore away supporters have been put through the wringer, they deserve a lot more imo. I've not made an away trip this season but it's on the cards. Really do feel for those that have travelled this season, let down terribly. But, we are where we are so let's keep it going.

I like this thread a bit of positivity at last! And so nice to hear about Boldersgas's various stages of erectile disfunction!

Yea, away form not good, goodness knows why, but home form still up to it. But is there anyone out there still enjoying it all at the moment? Anyone still pinching themselves that we have an ambitious owner, great Manager, still 10th in L1? Afraid to post that you're a happy Gas at the moment? Here's your chance. Swindon Saturday, early kick off, let's do 'em. Up the Gas!!! 10th in league one after two promotions, 10th in the form table. Anyone who wants the manager sacked is completely deluded and I would question their football sanity. We see chairman be trigger happy everywhere with managers, generally agree it's going a bit nuts, and then some want DC out given the above? Wael said evolution not revolution. Great, everyone says. Until we don't spend a bunch of cash to get somewhere we can't sustain and then they scream that we have no ambition/money. I have no doubt that we will get a new stadium at some point in the nearish future, it's the reason the club was purchased. Absolutely delighted with everything apart from the reaction of some of our fanbase. We won 5-0 last week, and one away defeat sends everyone into meltdown. Get some ****ing patience, jeez. For once, our fans are giving a manager less slack than the red lot. As far as yesterdays game was concerned, there is absolutely nothing DC can do about individual mistakes. He cannot count for Lockyer handing them two chances on a plate. In saying that, I would drop Lockyer for a couple of games now. He no doubt has a great future (and probably present), but he has cost us a few goals this year and a break wouldn't do him any harm.

Very happy overall.... obviously not happy with current form but that will pick up..... i also cant shake the nagging feeling that taylor might go very late in the window. I would be very worried then and we would without doubt, be in a real dog fight..... i think we need to wait until the summer to judge the whole picture of the club. Will uwe be confirmed? Will Wael put up cash for good pedigree, permanent signings? And will our best players want to stay? If the answer is yes to all, we will all be ecstatic!!

Not wishing to start negativity on this thread, or a willy waving super fan contest (bound to happen) but... Surely if all your seeing is the good times at our home games, you're gonna be more content than someone who is being put through the wringer nearly every away game?! Factoring in all the travel, costs, utterly sh** performances etc?

Like I said, feel sorry for those that have have travelled, but in my defence, I've done that. God knows I've done that.

I'm really happy.
DC doing better then expected in his first year managing at this level.
(Ignoring what I read on here) The board are doing what they can to push the club forward off the field.
I can't see us getting relegated but the playoffs are in sigh which keeps things exciting for the rest of the season.
DC says he knows what he needs to do to sort the defence / away form and that's good enough for me.

Put simply , I couldn't smile any wider ! I remember that fateful day against Mansfield like it was yesterday, I stood with my kids on the blackthorn end thinking that we were finished and my kids wouldn't have a local team to follow. What has been achieved so far has been a miracle and something I never thought I would ever be a part of. We are so lucky to have such a great club and fanbase that stick together throughout all the sh** we've been dealt but were still here, you'll never get rid of the gas !!!!! UTG !!!!!

Two things that made me laugh, the 82 ers keeper checking his studs as the ball sailed into the net, and the Watford player falling to the floor like in some of our games, the ref playing on and Bournemouth scoring, then his team mate trying to get him off the floor comedy gold!
