No I am not happy. We are still rag bag Rovers and I don't mind that as u have been a Gashead for over 35 years. What Dam me off is that we must have known Judas might be off and we certainly knew we needed a keeper and yet no signings - I don't buy this waiting for the right players sh** ffs we got a reserve keeper in and have told our inky fit sub keeper to f**k off - expected more - we atend a laughing stock

I'm still pretty happy on balance. The Matty Traitor saga has not ended well but ultimately the writing was on the wall in the summer. We got 16 goals and 300k more than we might have done at that point but he's clearly a snake for going to the shitpit, no question. Realistically this was all out of our control from the point that we didn't tie him down at some point during his first contract, but he was still unproven at a higher level at that point.
Beyond that we've got a great manager, a solid L1 squad, a more professional setup and staff, a training ground on the way and hopefully the stadium is moving in the right direction. When you look at where we've come from that is still a huge improvement and if you'd told me that three years ago I'd have told you that you were dreaming. Is there still room for improvement? Absolutely, but lets not let one irritating setback destroy all of the good work that's been done to this point over the last couple of years. Unfortunately with success comes expectation and that is playing out in spades right now it seems.

Not happy, but not disheartened.
As much as I'm gutted Taylor has left I'm looking forward to seeing whoever steps up to fill the hole he's left.

No! We've just sold our top goalscorer to Bristol City and haven't replaced him! Not happy!

yep, it's not bad being 8th in Lge 1 and hopefully with a new trg / academy soon and a stadium to follow. and one of the best young managers around.
ask me in 3-5 years time though. if the facilities haven't been sorted i'll be watered off.

Yes, I'm still happy, we have an owner who saved us from administration, a manager who choose us in preference to Leeds, and the best fans in the West. Don't let a sh*t spoil it.

Haven't been this disillusioned with Rovers in a long time.

I've still got a decent team to watch in the football league! TBFTGOG I could have been a Stockport, Hereford, Darlington, Boston, York, Torquay et al supporter looking on enviously at the jump start Rovers got when the heart had nearly stopped beating. One of my darkest days as a gas fan was when we sold another Taylor (Gareth) back in the mid nineties. Much more philosophical about the MT transfer, but that is because with DC it's the team performance that's important and we even rotated MT in and out of the starting eleven so his going hasn't "dismantled " the team

Yep overall still happy. Yesterday's saga just shows what a genuinely great long term , loyal manager we have. Was lucky enough to spend about 15 minutes with him on the Sabadell trip and felt he was more than happy to stop and chat with a normal fan when I imagine he had lots of other things to do. Only met Wael once, in the aftermath of the Dagenham match and even at that hectic time he stopped with anyone for a chat or photo. Still feel it's onwards and upwards and that D.C. and his team only want players who genuinely want to be part of the club. The off the pitch things, I am sure, will slowly be put in place as well.

Still happy? Well I must say I've had better days. Let's just imagine that Taylor broke is leg in training yesterday and is out for the rest of the season, and its to late to sign anyone to cover him? Feel better already? Good, because I Dam don't the money grabbing Dam retard ass licking Bell End Judas! Still happy though and proud to be a Gashead.

I'm watered right off. Haven't been this disillusioned with Rovers in a long time. Cheer up mate, you could have been a shithead. It's not Taylor going particularly that's watered me off, more the failure to replace him and what sort of club that makes us. When we announced we were no longer considering players for selection you'd have expected that we would either replace them or at least not loose others that they could have covered. The UWE saga drags on and on and we are treated to more bollocks from a Chairman I've lost a bit of faith in. At best he seems to keep getting it wrong, at worse he is telling fibs. I'm not sure which, but the Swansea fans did warn us. Sorry Lord Sugar if that upsets you but there it is. If there is no money, that's ok. If we are not going to sign players, and rely on bargain basement shopping, I'm not bothered. If UWE falls through, so be it. If they pull the plug on the training ground then that's life. But I'm sick of having my expectations raised and then being let down again. It's the hope that kills you.

Still happy? 8th in L1 - that'll do for me.
DC will keep the remainers(!) ticking over and I'm predicting James Luke & Harrison Ellis to take over the goalscoring duties with Rory chipping in from the bench!
Taylor wasn't our most natural goalscorer so replacing him in the Summer won't be difficult.
IDCWT!

I'm disappointed with yesterday but still feel we've some talent and goals in the squad to step up. Some good off the field news this week and an away win on the weekend and I'll be back happy clapping again... gotta stay optimistic till proven otherwise really...

We sold Penrice and Martyn in 1989 and still won the Championship and went to Wembley.
I know we bought Carl Saunders (eventually) but for me we have greater depth in this squad.
