Yeah. Swindon were dreadful to be fair, Usually there is always one player from the opponents team that catches the eye,but today i can honestly say there was not one player they had that even slightly impressed me.They were lucky not to get the hiding they deserved. I thought their goalie was decent and their winger, but maybe our formation gave the winger space

Really liked the look of Sweeney today, and Lumley looked good, hope they can carry that on

Agree and that clearance straight to Taylor was shocking and should of been punished. Awful side.

Wish he'd brought Monty on.Not been impressed by Moore at all so far.Mattee hits bar!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and then replaced by Luke James.Just wish James and Gaffers actually scored sometimes!! Surely it was Ollie Clarke who hit the bar? BBC Text stated Mattee. Billy Bodin's 29th-minute effort earned Bristol Rovers victory over Swindon Town in a low-key West Country derby in League One. The midfielder's left-footed shot from just outside the box went in via both posts, the ball rolling across the goal-line before spinning in. Rovers were value for a bigger winning margin, but made hard work of beating a Swindon side, who barely managed a worthwhile effort on goal. Matt Taylor hit the crossbar with a 77th-minute shot from outside the box but the hosts almost paid for not making their dominance tell when late shots from Ben Gladwin and John Goddard were both deflected just wide.

Great result, just what we needed with the new boys coming in. Hopefully we can push for some points away from home now. Well done DC and the boys.
And another classic DC post-match interview!

And Sky said it was Taylor on their summary too. It was definitely Ollie though Staffs.

After leaving the mem happy i popped over to sunny twerton to see some mates, and the second half of bath v margate. Ben swallow playing for bottom club margate, few nice touches but nowt to write home about, slipping down the leagues at a young age, where did he go wrong.

clean sheet, keeper barely troubled. Lol. Just ignore him. It got boring 2 years ago. Well to be fair he is our most consistent poster! 😉 No wildly changing views following a run of results ...good or bad ones! We've always had a "Popular side Pete" since the Twerton days..just reaching a different audience using a different medium.

Yes I'm not keen on it st home but it did work today because we won. I still think we're much better playing with wide men at home generally though today it was sort of a diamond but Bodin was on his preferred right and they seemed to take it in turns to give us a bit of width on the left. We weren't overran out wide like we normally are when we play the diamond. Their left winger was in lots of space, got in a few dangerous positions but thankfully didn't capitalise . I think you must mean their number 11 Brophy who is actually an attacking full back in the same mould as Browner?
