you could well be right, it just seemed to me that it tied in with Gasinciders post, though he might have been in hospitality and is being discrete about who said it. Whilst I would never reveal a source, I can assure you I was not in hospitality. But it is accurate. Heard it now from two individuals whom I'm sure you all know and would believe. What do I make of it? Pure surmise, but as previously said, why would Al Qadis father fly in to say deal is off? He doesn't find it easy taking long haul flights, as he is not in the best of health. A nd SH also said they were frustratingly close to a deal. Waels dad didn't go to the game on Saturday even though he was here. But the reason is for another time and place, and is not a negative to our future. The best idea for believing it will happen, is that DC only stayed based on assurances he was given in the close season. As DC isn't thick, he will realise that there was uncertainty about the new stadium and will have wanted confirmation that it was going to happen, almost, no matter what. If we try to be negative, now is the time to call it all off, because if the UWE is not happening why would we proceed with the training ground? We couldn't afford to develop it without a new stadium, so we have until Friday to call that off as well. But again we wouldn't need Waels dad here to say that. oh. Just saw the previous post. No I'm not him, but I do know him. My gut feel? 50-50. Just don't know. But do you believe anything he says as why talk about pp running out in August when he must have known Mr Al-Q was flying over this week to sort things out on way or the other. Whilst DC may have been given assurances we still have to agree a reasonable deal with the UWE and that will come down as we how much they still want the UWE, the fact they've agreed to the meeting taking place must be a positive.

SH gave the August dealine to shut GT up and try to stop this constant minute by minute debate. It also gives them a bit of breathing room.

People want some info and when they get it.....
SH mentioned August as the deadline, the end point. We all know the score and if it isn't done by then we have to move on elsewhere
He was hardly going to say Mr Al-Qadi was coming over to finalise the deal no matter how close (if that is the case), just in case it fell through

I swear you and gasincider are the same person, always ITK. Although I swear someone accused you both of this last year. The only thing we have in common is that we have both supported BRFC for 50+ years.
I will be at Cinderford tonight, not sure about Gasincider.

It's amazing what people hear. My take on it , IF Wael's dad is flying over for a meeting with UWE it's unlikely imo that he'd be coming over not to sign a deal. Agreed, surely he could stay home and not sign a deal. This literally made me laugh out loud at my desk Brilliant!
