Stats don't lie though. A goal every 200 minutes in league 1 where most of his games he's come off the bench. And he covered off 800 of those minutes in 90 minutes against Northampton. Stats don't lie but can easily be twisted to support a misguided point of view. Hatricks, like pens, don't count?

Up to you what you want to count but if I was a scout or manager looking for a striker then I'd be paying more attention to what the player was doing when he wasn't scoring penalties or hat tricks on a day that everything goes for him. Just my opinion though When would you be predicting Harrison's next hat trick?

Well if that's what Kent on Line says it's too late for Ricky to get a medical and signed now I think...has DC gone back to Eastleigh for the night?

We wont sign anyone, just blame being powerless and everything happening at the last minute to stop them replacing T**lor.
The cheap option is the Rovers way.

Surely if we we interested in Miller we'd have tabled a bid by now?
We must have known Taylor was going yesterday so you'd have thought if we wanted Miller we wouldn't be leaving any bid this late in the day.
It would take 4 hours to get from Dover to Bristol once a deal had been agreed and then he'd have to agree personal terms and pass a medical. Hard to see this being done by 11pm.

The player could be on Mars if there is a fax machine there. Conference calls also play a huge part on deadline day. Assuming we have known for a while that Taylor was off, basic contracts would be available for our club rep to fill in at point of purchase. Where is DC? Dover? Deals have been completed in less than half an hour in the past.
