We sell our top striker and we haven't got a plan b!!! Same old sh** just new owners..really feel the bubble has burst.. All the support everyone has given home and away seems to be chucked back in our face...so now away support will drop along with home attendance leaving us even less money to buy non league players? Don't agree how taylor left but you can see why as he knew the board won't be ambitious and bring in the players to get championship football...give it one more season and unless they dig deep in the summer dc will be looking for another club...

Crazy people! Why on earth do they think we should strengthen the team, don't they understand it's all about evolution not revolution. We can sell our top goal scorer with no need to replace him and still compete for a play off place. All our rivals have got it wrong strengthening their team in the window ready for the promotion push. What's wrong with them don't they get it!
#deluded

All the goodwill the new owners have built up evaporated today, any negative uwe outcome and there will be no going back.

Taylor didnt want to be here last may, so clearly hes just been hanging around until his pimp can sell him to the highest bidder, sadly taylor has no class or respect for us so hes gone to the sh**, see where he is in twelve months time, he may regret moving. FTC

Our top scorer has shown himself, in more ways than one, to be a prize penis. Big deal. We'll move forward from this. I'm glad the board hasn't panic-bought tonight. Actually the sign of a club that does know what it is doing, rather than one that doesn't, in my opinion.

To be fair, Taylor shaking hands with Michael Appleton on a deal with Oxford then going back on it should have set off the alarm bells. Then he does that shaking hands celebration after scoring against them showed him as a classless tool.
Shame most of us (including DC) were too relieved at him signing a new deal to give a sh**.

I agree with the first post on here. What have we done in the transfer window bigger all , Dec new tinker Taylor the sh**e would move on and has done nothing to replace him Don't know what w who to blame here but t we are at a standstill with no hope of going anywhere the s season the only bright side is that we will probably be playing the sh**e next season but unfortunately in league 1 and not the championship

FFS he's got 15 goals in the league for us this season - which means certain safety !! Would you rather he went to Oxford in the summer ? Not me - enjoyed everyone of his performances in the blue and white, especially HIS GOALS !!

Dare i say it, and i'm not suggesting ALL of us from a certain era always agree, but I agree with you so much I sometimes wonder if starting to support Rovers in the late 80's was the best time to start. I think it certainly gave us a grounding in humility, understanding, patience and realism. DC hates panic buying - look what happened with Blissett. The only reason he got loads of loans in early season was because we had shed loads of games before xmas, and his strategy was pretty much proved right. He also offered contracts to everyone as a motivational tool and they nearly all took them so there wasn't a huge amount of wiggle room for permanent players in a NEW and unfamiliar division. So he had to have a look at everyone, get some newbies in (Hartley, Moore), get some loans & weigh it all up. The real business will be in the summer. there are actually only 17 games left - i think some people have forgotten that.
