Terrible? To be honest Taylor is lucky is wasn't a lot worse, wait until we play each other and he has a pig's head thrown at him haha that made I chuckle. Just like when someone on the appreciation site said "Taylor, you have upset my daughter and for that I hope your next poo is a hedgehog"

The way he handled himself the day of the move with his comments and lack of respect to the supporters of the Gas was questionable to say the least. As for the abuse he has got online or at his base in Bristol, though some out of order, what did he expect??? I do not blame him trebling his money and looking after number one, but without DC giving him a chance, he may still be playing non league in Oxfordshire. I cannot see him playing regularly for the sh**. He will probably end up on loan at Oxford, and I cannot wait for his return to the Men, it makes the abuse JJ gets nothing in comparison.

I don't condone physical harm but I do hope Taylor gets a torrent of verbal abuse every time he is seen by gasheads out and about, even on Valentines day while having dinner at a nice restaurant with his Mrs and Aden Flint...
Lets make his life hell.

He knew what he was doing would upset us, sol knew the same and plenty of spurs fans would have been more than happy to see him dead. I watched sol play for arsenal many a time, and whilst he was a class defender i didnt respect him as a player because he done the wrong thing, sign for anyone else but you dont join your hated rivels and rub fans noses in it, to see snakie smurking in a ted shirt makes me want to vomit, and twenty years ago probably want to kill him. thats football. Its quite simple the snake has No Class! A proper person would have showed us respect and understood. The irony is that Johnson has taken a gamble, it has taken the heat off his situation and if they continue not o win the snake may find an incoming manager may not fancy him. You watch him slide off to Oxford then.

On the subject of the BEP has anyone noticed they have started giving it out free to commuters?
You know it's bad when they can't give the thing away!

Anyone know his room number at The Marriott as id like to give him a wake up call tomorrow morning so that he's sharp and ready for the bench.

I was thinking of an early morning wake-up phone-call but this is a much better idea!
I presume its the Royal Marriott at the bottom of Park Street and not the one near Old Market as the teds do love to chuck money at everything?

That is such a stupid, stupid article - and it is almost adding to the "incitement" of the situation in its own terms.
The move, and the manner of the move between the two clubs, was bound to cause ill-feeling and I am not sure that anybody should be surprised by some of the strings of verbal invective that have been seen on the whole array of social media outlets.
In my opinion, MT has made a mistake. I understand that he has moved to further his career, and I understand the need of every footballer to make the most of what is a very short career. His loyalties first and foremost belong to his family and making the most of himself for them. Everyone in their right mind would have their head swayed by an offer that would double or treble their earnings in one fell swoop.
I am not sure, either, that you can play the "loyalty" card. A lot has been said about the disloyalty of players, but loyalty is a two way thing and I wouldn't immediately think of football clubs themselves as being the most loyal of employers.
The reasons that I think MT has made a mistake are firmly based on the fact that he has gone to a club (it doesn't matter whether it is City or not) that is in a relegation fight. In all probability, they will survive but there is a chance that they will not and, if they don't, he will find himself back in League One. Furthermore, there were two benefits of staying, even if it was only for the duration of the season. The first was that he could have banged in a few more goals, in a team that is creating a lot of chances, and made himself much more marketable in the summer. The second was that WE are in with a very outside chance of promotion ourselves and he could have become a championship player by default. For him, there is also a DISASTER SCENARIO - City get relegated and we get promoted.
One thing that actually makes me giggle a bit was that, if City really wanted him that badly, they could have had him for free in the summer. I recognise that we probably didn't get a true market rate for him but it is £300,000 Plus 19 goals more than we would have got if he left earlier.
Turning to the point of that article, the move has obviously caused animosity (the "any club other than City" syndrome is alive and kicking). Gasheads feel let down and Sh1!heads have used it to add fuel to the flames of their "Ragbag Rovers" jibes. Anger has been vented in no uncertain terms, on this forum and other social media outlets.
However, I would urge all Gasheads to go no further than that - let off steam in here all you like. BUT please please let us not stoop to the level of making personal threats or even worse. That merely brings us down to their level and tarnishes the reputation of all Gasheads and the Club with it.
We do not need that, we need to stick to the high moral ground and rise above it. We need to show the idiots who write this sort of inflammatory article that we are better than that.

Is there any evidence of any actual physical abuse ? Hopefully no one will sink as low as that. But is he really surprised that his life is being made uncomfortable ? 12K a week should help ease the pain and he can save it up to move when he fails at City and is hated by both sides of town.

Randy is normally an articulate and perceptive writer, but here he seems to overlook the fact that a lot of Rovers' fans' anger was not only about Taylor's departure, but the manner of it.
I'm still waiting to read that he thanks DC and Rovers for rescuing him from the bench at Nailsworth.
I don't think another City fan, Richard Latham, would put such a biased and one-eyed article into the public domain.
The Bristol Post is all over the place at the moment. Trying to find an identity it is becoming increasingly like the more salacious 'Red Tops' of the newspaper world.
