On the subject of the BEP has anyone noticed they have started giving it out free to commuters? You know it's bad when they can't give the thing away! And in McDonald's. Shows what type of paper it is.

What a tosser. Says people need to calm down but then has dig after dig in his pathetic excuse for an article. If anything he's inflamed the situation more. No surprise though coming from that shithead rag.

Not sure which is worse...........verbal abuse of a player who has basically shoved two fingers up at the club which rescued him from obscurity, or getting into a car with almost twice the legal limit of alcohol inside you!

One good thing that has come out of this is he will not equal Geoff Bradford record of scoring 20 plus goals in this division in 3 successive seasons and I will lay offs against him getting anywhere near the 120 goals in 225 games in what was then division 2

The bit which says 'If stories suggesting a police presence outside the striker's home are to be believed' hardly suggests we're dealing with an investigative reporter willing to make the effort to get to the truth of the matter. Lazy journalism from The Post. There's a surprise... not. I live in the same street where his house is, I have seen no police presence and his Windows are still there, load of media crap

Has he said sorry yet?
The interview I heard he was just talking about himself.
Something like "I loved my time at rovers and the fans supported me incredibly well. I understand just how hard it must be for them to shoulder this and I don't expect them to forgive me but this is a life changing opportunity and I couldn't refuse the offer, I'm sorry to have to move now, but I am a BCFC player from now on and relishing the opportunity etc etc"
Didn't get that vibe from what he has said so far

Also, for gods sake fans don't aggro the guy in real life. As said above, call him what you will, burn effigies of him if you must but at the end of the day, it's football. It's a game, plus I really value the fact that WE are not a load of aggro laden meathead hod carriers from south Bristol. We don't roll like they do, and we should not allow them to sink is down to their level.

SHORT READ: All around the world, from Boca Juniors to Barcelona to North London, fans take the movement of star players to rival clubs on the chin - having a bit of light banter but remaining fundamentally civilized. Not at Bristol Rovers though - where they are all dangerous, foaming at the mouth maniacs.

I'm sure he really doesn't give a toss, but then (just playing devils advocate) would Chris Lines if Sheff Utd had put in an offer while at Wednesday?
He f**ked over his boyhood club in the summer and then mocked them, says it all about him as a person really, up there with Vardy in terms of c*nt-ness.

Brentford fan.
No wonder he doesn't get it.
having lived and worked in west London for 8 years (including 5 years very near Brentford, and have been to the ground as a guest etc) Brentford have no real rivalry as they've rarely been in the same division as Fulham or QPR, certainly not in the last 25 years. Fulham are also well known as a bunch of pansies.

Its quite simple the snake has No Class! A proper person would have showed us respect and understood. The irony is that Johnson has taken a gamble, it has taken the heat off his situation and if they continue not o win the snake may find an incoming manager may not fancy him. You watch him slide off to Oxford then. Johnson hasn't taken any gamble at all. They don't need him, but Johnson needed to deflect the criticism of himself away before the clamour resulted in him going. Lansdown didn't want to embarrass himself in sacking him ten minutes after giving him a long term deal, but this was put in place long before. It will cost Lansdown relatively little to take Judas away from us which is what this was all about, and in a year, they will say he's not good enough, and ship him off to Oxford or some other backwater, knowing it has scuppered us, albeit temporarily, this season. This is all about Lansdown and his empire building, whilst deflecting the bile generated against Johnson by the South Bristol YMCA boys. By the way, if you are driving past the Marriott Swallow Hotel on College Green, especially in the early hours, give a loud blast on your car horn, and when Judas appears, just wave kindly.

Andy Stockhausen has recently been made redundant.
You know you're bad when even the Evening Post don't want you.
