DC mentioned the S word frequently and gave a very positive message on things "taking time" but mentioned "part 2 coming round't corner". Whatever the weather, it wasn't the words of a man who was privvy to an uncertain future for the stadium. I would say it was the attitude of confidence that good news is on the way. To the UWE doubters, either things are looking good, the board are BSing him if he is part of the "cover up". I doubt DC would be that duplicitous, and I don't think he would buy BS and then speak like that in the media. If he thought there was doubt, he would have avoided UWE entirely in this interview. Will post the link in a minute. I reckon we will have very good news soon. He knows something clearly, reckon we could be hearing something positive sooner rather than later.

Another great very relaxed and content interview from DC, with some humour thrown in. The man is obviously well in tune with our owners, unlike some on here. UTG!

Mods, just create 5 threads, titles to suit you, and just move my comments around like a tennis ball. The cheek of it mind. Perhaps there is a classic car forum you could post this on or perhaps we can have our posts proof read for relevancy by a local publisher.

MS too spoke well after the Rochdale game.Much more serious than one would imagine but clearly a vital part of our team.Quite lucky with them both and of-course SY.Long connections with the club and the constant changes elsewhere and ourselves in recent years underline how lucky we are currently.

The video you posted was already on here and comments in line with your own were already under debate, therefore your new thread was identical to what was already being discussed. Sorry for your inconvenience and hope you understand we are only trying to keep the forum in order. Enjoy your evening fella.

So the traffic noise is a problem for a footy training site? Bradley Stoke, Lyde Green and many other housing developments are within 40 meters of the motorways and they get on with it ok. Traffic noise is one of those that you get used to. A bit like living under a flight path, near a railway or have rampant neighbours like ours have.

Ha ha. Remember the cars slowing down and the 'breakdowns' on the M32 as they were going past the Muller Road End at Eastville? And Cashman Furniture removals van going past all afternoon !

All of this talk of revenue streams coming from the UWE. Does anyone know if we're planning to use the training facilities in a similar way? Looking on the Fleetwood training website it seems to be a real community resource and is very professionally managed.

The Post article says we'll be having a look around Fleetwood's training complex. www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=872664&page=21The skyscraper city website is interesting as it shows the design of training facilities and follows their progression until completion (including Fleetwood). I didn't realise Bristol Sport (Rugby Division) had submitted plans in November for a new training facility at Failand. It all really shows how far behind Rovers had fallen ,the Swansea video on page 30 was interesting.
The Swansea video shows the first team training facility at Fairwood Gower. The new state of the art building cost £11million alone, the other building and pitches were already up and running. Not a clue what the whole facility cost. The Academy is at LLandore near to the Liberty stadium.

Apparently brings in between £550k - £1 million income per year to the club according to Steve Hamer in an interview a couple of weeks ago.

Blimey, (p.29) Guangzhou Evergrande: Inside China's $185M football factory
The Evergrande International Football School is the largest largest football academy in the world.
The school has 2,800 students and more than 50 football pitches... And have 24 coaches from Real Madrid.

One Turds mammoth Rovers (they don't care about us doncha know) has a full page dedicated to Hortham Farm.
Of course, it isn't going to happen. The club, actually hasn't got a pot in which to p1ss in, etc etc.
Just because we haven't gone out and splashed millions ons on players, or aimed for unrealistic targets means the Al Quadis are skint, need venture capital money, blah blah blah.
Most of all, we have never pulled off the most extreme ant c@ntish stroke of all and signed one of their players, probably using illegal obtained privileged information.
We're tin pot, you see.

See the chimp has gone to ground, a good news story is hard for him to take, if the UWE comes off what will his new title be? He enjoys Wael watching so a tweet of congrats would not have gone amiss.
